The hotel is new, the decoration is modern. Located 350 m from the sea.
Everything is clean and nice. The beach is secluded and few people.
The room has air conditioning, a bathroom, a wide double bed, a wine fridge, towels are changed every day, linen is changed every two days.
That's all, now about the disadvantages:
The hotel is facing the sea, you can see half the sea. In the rooms facing the road, the noise of cars is heard all night and a noisy car wash works during the day. Almost 1 kilometer to the center.
Food, drinks, and alcoholic beverages other than water cannot be brought into the hotel. Even Cole.
The staff looks into the bags, the refrigerator and rummages through the nightstands. Then they put it on the table, shoot a video and accuse you of eating and drinking in the room. 50 euro fine. If you don't want to pay, move out!
Breakfast is monotonous - tasteless sausages (9 days), set on edge, gave the cat the last 5 days.
The hotel does not have a left-luggage office, safe, scales.
In the evenings, on the roof of the hotel in the restaurant, strangers walk until 22.30, you can hear from all rooms.
The sea is gorgeous - pearly, just magnificent.
For the sake of the sea, it is worth visiting Ksamil, but not the Alert Bianko 4 * hotel!
I give the hotel 3 *, it doesn’t pull on four.
The shower and toilet are very small. After taking a shower, you have to mop the floor in the bathroom. And sit sideways on the toilet, there is not enough space.
The pool is located in the shade of the building and the sun comes out only late in the evening.
The hotel administration is interested in a fine, not a warning.
Tiring transfer - 6 hours to the airport.
Location: the hotel is 5 minutes from the beach. 15 minutes to the center, which was a plus for us, because we came to distract from the hustle and bustle of the city. There is a trail nearby, but it does not prevent you from enjoying the peace and quiet.
New furniture and modern renovation: the hotel opened in June 2019, so everything is new, clean and tidy.
Young and friendly staff: all employees are very polite, always smiling, trying to serve at a high level.
Cons:
Meals: we chose only breakfast because we did not want to be tied to the hotel, traveled and tasted national cuisine. This was the right decision, because on the third day we did not want to go to breakfast. The hotel has a buffet and the same dishes are served daily for breakfast. These are eggs (boiled, fried and omelet), sausages, tomatoes, cucumbers, ham, cheese, milk and breakfast cereals, fruits, pastries.
At first glance, it seems that there are enough products and you can alternate them, but if you rest for 10 days, you already physically want some variety.
Problems with hot water. In the evening (19:00-20:00) there was usually no hot water, due to the fact that everyone came from the sea at this time and washed en masse. And one more evening there was a problem with electricity, when the lights were turned off completely throughout the hotel. After this incident, the air conditioner worked poorly for two days and there was no hot water. But I want to note that the hotel management quickly resolved this problem, and apologized for the inconvenience.
Not all employees speak English, which creates barriers to communication.
The staff is friendly, Russian-speaking is present.
We took breakfast + dinner, to be honest, the breakfast is good, but there was a surprise with dinner. For dinner, you eat what they gave (potatoes with meat + salad + dessert, sometimes seafood) everything is delicious, but not straight. Prices in Albania are good, so don't take dinner better.
We are very satisfied with the hotel, the beaches are nearby 3 minutes walk, but we went to the popular Maldives beach for 15-20 minutes on foot.
a very good impression of the staff (not visible, not heard, but they work like clockwork)
The rooms are clean, cleaned every day. There is a TV, cups, teapot, bathroom accessories, hair dryer.
The bathroom is small, with a window, a shower behind a glass partition. The room is spacious, with one narrow bed and one large double bed. There are wardrobes, a chair. The hotel has an elevator.
On the top, 4th floor, in the open air with a view of the sea and mountains, there is a terrace for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is a buffet, the rest of the food is a la carte. Breakfasts are good: tea, coffee, juices, water, yogurt, cheeses, eggs in various forms, fruits, sausages, cookies. Portions for breakfast are also worthy: salads, fish, seafood, meat, side dishes.
The staff is Russian-speaking, polite and tries to serve.
Wi-fi is free throughout the hotel (as in all of Albania), it catches perfectly both in the rooms and on the street not far from the hotel.
The view from the room from the balcony overlooked the mountains, a little on a small road and the edge of the sea was visible.
Nearby are several good supermarkets within walking distance, where you can buy a variety of food, water, souvenirs and bathing accessories, creams, clothes.
The beach (and even several small beaches) of the Ionian Sea with pebbles and amazing turquoise color of the water is located very close, 5 minutes walk from the hotel. There is also a long walking path along the sea with picturesque views and flowers. You can also find other small hotels and cafes here.
The advantage of the resort is its relative scarcity of residents and tourists.
Sandy beaches are also present in Ksamil nearby, which can be reached by car or taxi.
Near the hotel there is a spacious parking lot where you can leave your car, nearby you can use the gas station service.
At a distance of 15 km from Ksamil is the busier town of Saranda, where the port is located, and from where you can go on an excursion to the Greek island of Corfu, which can be seen nearby.
The hotel is good, convenient in location and accommodation, in one of the cleanest places and beaches in Albania.
