I love outdoor activities, so for me the hotel is of no global importance, but nevertheless, Troy Apartments is a weak hotel, a stretch in terms of service. I love outdoor activities, so for me the hotel is of no global importance, but nevertheless, Troy Apartments is a weak hotel, a stretch in terms of service. We had one problem, we arrived we didn’t have a lid on the toilet, on the fourth day they installed it for us. Also, I specifically ordered the apartment to have a kitchen, we wanted to be able to eat local sea food ourselves, there was no frying pan. Then they helped us, the neighbors gave us a frying pan, but the question remains, why do I need a kitchen if I don’t have dishes? There was no iron, also the neighbors shared. For me, all this was not such a problem, but capricious tourists will probably not like it. In the room with cleaning everything was fine, by agreement. We were cleaned daily, the bed was changed 1 time in 3 days. But they also have a kind of cleaning, for example, they do not wash the bathroom. Albania she all such on service. As I said, the hotel is not very important for me, the beauty of the sea, the weather are important for me, the rest is trifles. The restaurant was in the hotel, if desired, you could eat there. Shops - not far away. We were in the city of Saranda - a popular resort in Albania, where a mountain river flows into the sea, the tour operators said that the channel was straight, but now it has gone along the coast. On their beach, the water is cold, 19 degrees. We went to the neighboring beach, there is a 10-minute walk, the beaches there are all free, you can go anywhere. I traveled to many beaches there, in Albania you can rent transport (motor scooters, cars), transport is cheap there. A moped costs 20 euros per day, a car - 40 euros per day. But, if anyone plans to travel with children, then of course you need to choose hotels where there is a normal beach, because, as in our case, the water in the sea on the nearest beach was icy. The guides at the hotel offered us excursions, but we did not use them, we went ourselves where we needed. Food in Albania is not expensive, octopuses, shrimp, dorado, sea bass - they bring fresh fish, they clean it with you, everything is in order with that. Breakfasts were included in our tour, they took place in a nearby hotel, their quality is rather weak, 3-4 types of normal ham, potatoes, 3 types of cheese, scrambled eggs. I am not a capricious tourist, I understand where I was going, it was normal for me, I ate what I wanted - I bought more. The people are friendly, there is where to go, Greece is nearby, in general there is something to do, just lying on the beach is not interesting for me.
