Travel agency: Ukrainian Tour (Kyiv) Service type: экскурсионный тур |
Recently we went on an excursion to Chernihiv. I have never met a worse organization. About everything in order:
1. Tour guide Valery. I was late to the meeting place of the group, because of which the departure took place 20 minutes late. It was impossible to get through to him in order to find out the exact location of the bus stop: he did not pick up the phone and did not call back himself. From Valery's speech, ears wither: "sho?quot;, "che?quot;, "fire", "young lady", Ukrainian "ge" in Russian words, a bunch of parasitic words like "actually" and this is not yet a complete list. During the story, Valery jumped from some historical characters and events to others, then returned again to those mentioned earlier, dragging in quotes from films and politicians, turning his narrative into a complete mess. But most of all, he was outraged by his complete indifference and lack of initiative in solving organizational punctures, which our excursion was rich in. Tourists had to ask him about everything, to persuade him.
2. Gathering the group. The gathering place is described very roughly. There are no identification marks on the bus, and except for the number, there is no other way to determine it. It is not easy to find a place for his parking at a crowded station, especially for those who are not guided by Lesnaya.
3. Bus. The aisle between the seats is so narrow that it was very difficult for adults, and even in outer winter clothes, to squeeze through the cabin to take seats at the end of the bus. The microphone at first did not work at all, a little later it somehow worked. The first half hour of the trip from the metro station Lesnaya to the village. Kozelets driver did not even turn on the interior heating. After the tourists asked to turn on the stove on the second stage of the journey, after 10 minutes the smell of burning appeared and we saw smoke coming from the back of the bus through the window. Valery, leaving the bus, opened the door and all this stench flew into the cabin. In order to somehow breathe, they themselves opened the hatch, and the driver also opened the rear doors of the bus wide open, just behind the backs of the people sitting. To the persuasion of the group members to call another car, Valery replied that they would repair this one now and we would go further. After driving 200 meters on it, smoke started again and we demanded to stop and still call another car, which we had been waiting for about an hour in a cold bus. In the end, instead of the prescribed 1 hour and 20 minutes, we got to Chernigov for about three hours. At the same time, Valery did not worry about this at all and even allowed himself to joke about this topic.
3. While the bus was moving, Valery practically didn’t say anything (until the tourists asked him directly when he would start talking), but then we stood for 15-20 minutes in the cold near some cathedral and listened to what You could also talk on the bus. Due to all the delays, we, of course, did not have time everywhere. When we approached the last object - the wooden church in Sednev, it was already closed. Valery nonchalantly suggested that we just look around it from the outside (a dark church in the dark), despite the fact that he had the phone of a person who could let us inside. Only after our urgent requests, he called him.
We did not hear any apologies from Valery.
Naturally, I will not recommend this travel agency to any of my friends and I myself will not use its services again. Even if they cannot organize such a one-day excursion with high quality, then what can we say about more expensive tours.
Chernigov and its sights are the only thing that left a good impression, it is worth going there, but with a different travel agency, of course.
