We signed an agreement with the branded branch of Tez tour (Kyiv) in advance of the trip and made an advance payment (1.5 months before the start of the holiday). We call two weeks before the start of the tour to pay the remaining amount and find out - "your hotel refused, because it sold all the places more expensively to the Russians." Excellent reasoning for refusal, nothing to say ...
We bought a tour before citizens of the Russian Federation were allowed to fly. Accordingly, after receiving a refusal, our hotel and all the others have risen in price by about 30%.
As a result, we were offered a hotel that did not even approximately correspond to the one we booked (the managers of the Tez tour agreed with this). Although the contract must be either equivalent or better. It was a hotel for a overnight stay during tourist trips, as it is characterized on the site.
After a long swearing and hassle, promises to sue and protect consumer rights, personal communication with hands. sales department of the Kiev office - they promised that they would give a worthy replacement. Another hotel was suggested (it's been a WEEK!, the proposal was announced on Friday afternoon, through an agent, after endless calls and viber messages with reminders and requests for help). The hotel was 5-ka, it seems not bad, but with a bunch of "1" in the rating from visitors due to significant nuances. We as a family could not make a decision in 5 minutes ... After thinking about the day, we agreed on Saturday evening, because in view of the sharp increase in prices, as well as the time limit, there was nothing left to choose from. But even in this situation, the managers of the Tez tour could not quickly confirm the hotel for us, referring to the preparations for the holidays in Turkey, that they are ignored by the host, that they have a day off, that we think for a long time, about the crisis, about what is not clear, and a lot of other excuses ....
As a result, a ticket was ordered from the Anex tour company. Found it on their own spending a lot of time and nerves. It is more expensive and shorter in time. But even so .... I did not want to spoil the rest and mood of the children. We did not wait for a call from the manager of the Tez tour with confirmation of the hotel for a replacement !!! Customer oriented company!
Conclusions - for this company, a tourist is a nonentity who should be glad that he was generally given the opportunity to fly somewhere to rest. In case of a problem (I understand, anything can happen) - you will find out about it yourself, suddenly and unexpectedly. Nobody will inform you. To a request to give a refusal in writing with a wording and an explanation - do not even dream, "we cannot do this." No equivalent options in return, not to mention compensation or human treatment.
All in all, I would definitely not recommend this company. Complete deception and disrespect for the Tourist!
