Fraud at the Tez Tour office in Odessa

We contacted the Teztour sales office at 27 Shevchenko Ave., Odessa, with a request for a tour to Sri Lanka for our family of three, including our daughter

Manager - Sivchenko Lada.

In December, I paid for the proposed tour. The contract was not provided to me, referring to the fact that it would be provided later, along with the documents for departure. Also, I visited the agency several times during December 2014 in order to paste a photo of my daughter in my passport, on none of these visits I was provided with an agreement. I am a long-time client of the Tez Tour Ukraine company, which I respect, so this fact did not arouse my suspicions.

On January 10, a week before the tour, I was informed that the tour operator had gone bankrupt and there would be no tour, they refused to return the money. They refused to provide an alternative tour. I did not believe that such a company as Tez Tour could go bankrupt and called the Tez Tour Ukraine hotline where they said that there were no such tourists as flying to Sri Lanka.

As it turned out later, according to the manager Sivchenko L., she, on her own initiative, at her own peril and risk, without agreeing with me and my wife, changed her mind about booking a tour with Tez Tour, as I asked her, and booked a tour with another tour operator, who went bankrupt by committing fraud against my family.

I found out that I bought the tour from the Tez Tour franchise partner agency. All the attributes of the agency - a sign, business cards, letterheads - all under the Tez Tour logo. As I understand it, the franchising partner Tez Tour (at 27, Shevchenko Ave., Odessa) grossly violates the franchise agreement, hiding behind the good name of the franchisor, selling cheap risky tours. And continues to do so to this day.

I know that the official office of Tez Tour has no right to offer me tours of third-party operators in those areas of tourism in which Tez Tour operates. In matters of the annual vacation of my family with a young child, I trust only the good name of a company like Tez Tour, based on personal experience and the experience of relatives and friends.

During January 2015, I repeatedly called, came to the Odessa office of Tez Tour at 27 Shevchenko Ave. (talked with the manager Sivchenko Lada), contacted the Head Office of the Tez Tour company by phone, but did not receive a clear answer regarding the issue of obtaining a tour or a refund . On January 31, 2015, in Tez Tour Ukraine, they told me by phone that they could not help me in any way, because. this office is franchising and Tez Tour Ukraine is not responsible for their actions. I am very disappointed with the actions of Tez Tour Ukraine, I lose a lot of time to resolve this issue, I lost my vacation.

As of today, May 20, 2015, I have neither a proposed alternative tour nor information on a full refund.
