Travel agency: TUI Турагентство (Kyiv) Service type: пакетный тур |
The tour was on about. Rhodes. Plane flight: Kyiv-Rhodes-Kos (KS 4911). Airline: Aviatrans K.
Only the third time it turned out to book a hotel, because. the information on their website is outdated (checked with another travel agency). As a result, we lost 4 days and could not be in time with a visa, we took the Lomeniz hotel. Everywhere it's like 3*, but Join up has 4* for some reason. In fact, the hotel is a normal trio.
The departure was scheduled from Kyiv at 6.00, so it was convenient to take tickets for the relatively expensive Hyundai train, which arrives in Kyiv at night (the usual one arrives in the morning), and change over at the airport for several hours. But on the train, we found out that the departure was postponed to 14.00. Those. now we:
a) nervously looking for a place to sleep;
b) we overpay for tickets for an expensive train about 40 €.
Passports with visas are safely received at the airport. Where the Join up employee said that the flight was originally scheduled for 14.00. We are confused... Arrived, settled without problems.
We learn from our guide that for the last two weeks all flights from Kyiv have been postponed 8 hours ahead. And already the day before departure, we were not surprised to find that the departure was really not at 9.40, but at 17.50 (hooray! We can take a little walk around Rhodes! Thank you Join up!) According to our immodest estimates, we do not have time for our train (tickets purchased in advance). More - 20€. But in the evening there are still trains after it. The last one is at 22.30. There are places, you have to be on time. But we were not destined. It turns out that our plane makes a circular flight: Kyiv-Rhodes-Kos-Kyiv. Accordingly, he drops off passengers in Rhodes, picks us up, then flies to Kos, drops us off and picks us up there. Naturally, no one warned us about this (although what a difference it is). We arrived in Kyiv at midnight. There are no trains to the Dnieper and Zaporozhye at midnight. But there is a Hyundai already at 7.00. Another -40€. We sleep happily at the station. In the end, they boarded the train. Here and there, the faces of tourists already familiar from the plane, exhausted by rest, flashed by.
Of course, Join up has an indirect relation to the further history. Hyundai wouldn't be a Hyundai if it didn't break down and end up in the field, which is exactly what happened. The tractor pulled us to the Verkhovtsevo station. There, our craftsmen patched it up and, with a delay of 2.5 hours, we reached Zaporozhye. Perhaps we will even be shown on the news :). Train number 168 dated 09/14/13.
