Hello! From November 29 to December 6, my friend and I rested in Egypt, at the Radisson BLU Hotel, Taba. We chose the hotel solely because of the well-known name, because we wanted to have a well-deserved vacation. We have a lot of small complaints about the shortcomings of a hotel with such a distinguished name, but the worst thing is that we were robbed on the day of departure. They stole money from the safe in the room. We came to the room from the beach and it turned out that there was no electricity from the whole building only in our room. As if by magic, an electrician appeared at our door, who immediately agreed to help - without asking for a receptionist. When electricity came on, we discovered that the safe code we entered didn't work. Then we turned to the reception and the same electrician was sent to us. He very easily unscrewed the back wall of the safe and immediately left. When we opened our wallets, we found that American dollars, Ukrainian hryvnias in large denominations and Jordanian dinars had disappeared from us. We immediately rushed to the reception to sort out the situation, but we were met there with absolute indifference and even rudeness. The hotel manager began to convince us that we were both out of our minds and had forgotten where we put our money, that they couldn’t have gone anywhere from the safe. We insisted that the police be called, but we were refused. Then we turned to our guide from the Pegas company - Julia. She similarly refused to call the police and generally completely ignored our requests for help. In support of all of the above, we have a video where you can see how boorishly the hotel staff, receptionists spoke to us and how Yulia defiantly ignored our pleas for help. The conclusion suggests itself - why do you need a guide from a tour operator? What do tourists pay money for? And who is responsible for this situation? We were extremely dissatisfied with the work of Pegas guides. This is simply outrageous! Julia was talking such nonsense that she has no right to call the police! Where is this seen?! It turns out that the tourist has no rights at all? We have been abroad a lot and used the services of various operators, but we have never seen such bestiality. After our urgent demands, a certain woman with a rare name appeared at our hotel (forgotten, unfortunately). She looked more like a man. She introduced herself as a Pegas employee and said that she would solve all problems, but she also refused to call the police. As a result, we dragged out the time until we were already at risk of being late for the plane, and then they said: if you want to figure it out, stay. Naturally, we did not want to stay in a foreign country without money and miss the plane. True, this masculine woman took a statement from us about the theft. I don't even know if it makes any sense. most likely, she threw it away immediately after our departure. By the way, before the incompetent Yulia, we had another guide - Mohammed. He also distinguished himself - he told us how lonely he was and that he had not had a woman for 4 months. I don’t know on what basis the Pegas company selects personnel, but it is from such Julias and Mohammeds that the opinion about the company as a whole is formed.
