I recently flew in from Egypt. We flew through Pegasus (Kiev). I agree, the selection of personnel is disgusting. I was convinced by my own example.

Arriving at the hotel, we were given a room and invited to meet with the guide. The "wonderful" guide Irina immediately announced the prices for services from the operator (hammam, excursions, etc.), including a doctor's call for $ 30. Then we were told that this was a fixed price, the price of the clinic, which is located on the territory of the hotel. (The guide did not explain that a tourist has an insurance policy, not only that, which we buy when buying a ticket and which should help in case of health problems in a foreign country). One day, I had an accident (I slipped near the pool and did not fall into it successfully), since the depth of the pool was not large (90 cm), I hit the tile at the bottom of the pool, which injured my nose, tore my lip and knocked out part of a tooth! Sorry for the details, but you can imagine how shocked and horrified I was! In a panic, there was no time to think about insurance, because it was necessary to stop the bleeding. My friend asked at the reception for ice and call the doctor. The doctor arrived in 15 minutes and asked us to drive to the clinic for a detailed examination!

The proud name "clinic" was worn by an ordinary medical center, in which there was a couch fenced with a screen and a small table with medical instruments. They put me on a couch, with a sheet dirty with blood (as I understand it from previous patients). Seeing that we also paid attention to this, the sheet was quickly removed and .... put me on a bare couch. (There was apparently no new sheet!). The doctor examined the bleeding lip and said that there was no need for stitches, but I needed to calm down (I was crying) because the blood could not stop. Since it was difficult for me to calm down physically, I asked if they had a sedative (valerian, motherwort, etc.), to which the Russian-speaking administrator of the "clinic" Natalya, laughing at my question (apparently it was very funny in such a situation) she said with a smirk: "What do you want me to bring you motherwort from Moscow?quot; The doctor took some kind of ampoule and began to open it in order to give me some kind of injection (supposedly a sedative). I asked what kind of composition is in the medicine that you want to inject me? In response, there was a surprised look (which completely pissed me off). Frightened by the incompetence of the doctors, I refused the injection, deciding to finally pull myself together and asked to be taken to my room. Finally, I clarified whether they had a dentist (because there were still 6 days before the end of the holiday, and the floor of the front tooth was missing), but here there was a failure - there was no dentist, and if I wanted, I would have to go to the center of Hurghada ..... in general, as you understand, I restored the tooth at home. (although, as it turned out in the insurance contract, the help of a dentist was also included in the insurance).

As a result, I had to pay 30 USD, with grief I received certificates about my accident .. Arriving in Kyiv, I turned to the Kyiv branch of the insurance company with a request to receive at least some kind of compensation .... A sweet girl told me that they I am not owed anything, since I was insured under program No. 1, which means that I would be entitled to compensation of only 200 USD. in the event of an accident, and according to program No. 1, an accident is considered: disability of 2.3 groups or death! How are you? Not only would you become disabled, you also had to pay the clinic and receive from the insurance not 200, but 170 USD, since you gave the franchise to the clinic. When I asked how such insurance conditions could be prescribed and offered to tourists at all, the operator told me that this was the wish of the Pegasus company. Thank God my story has a happy ending. So I won’t rest with Pegasus and I don’t advise you. For your money, your nerves will fray and, God forbid, there will be no help! As practice has shown, we are not insured against anything ... figuratively and literally! Julia, Kiev.
