Yesterday we returned from a tour of Kemer, Turkey.

Booked a 6 night stay. Fortunately, everything went well, without unexpected incidents.

As planned, the hotel hosted a meeting with our guide. He explained to us what was happening and at the end of the meeting, he offered to take excursions, strongly recommending buying from him. insurance is valid only within the framework of purchased services from a tour operator. In the case of independent rest outside the hotel, the responsibility lies with the tourist.

Of course, as part of getting to know the country, I want to know and see more.

The excursion we chose included: transfer by bus, visiting the church of St. Nicholas, where his relics are kept, the city of Mira and the Greco-Roman theater, lunch, a trip on a super yacht to the intersection of the Aegean and the Mediterranean and to the sunken town that we can see through the transparent the bottom of the yacht + a treat on the yacht, and at the end of the excursion, time for swimming in the bay with perfect, clear water.

All the listed services cost $55 per person, i.е. $110 for two.

We were looking forward to the day when there will be an active-educational program, but it was not like that ... PLEASE read to the end. Don't get divorced.

We were picked up on time, met with the guide - Rabiya. She told everything in an interesting way, from the very beginning ... Only at the end of the trip, my husband and I began to guess about brainwashing, which no one could have thought of. All the tourists were soooo happy with everything that was happening, it was wild to look at it ... .. Like adults ...

On the way to the church, we were taken to have breakfast at a roadside cafe, next to which there is a strange sign for a wine house BUT there was only a cafe .... it seemed strange, of course, but okay ...

After breakfast we continued on our route. During the trip to the church, we were told about the "magic power" of this place, the icons, consecrated once a year. Arriving at the church itself, it turned out that the relics of the Saint were not there for a long time, because. they were simply transported to Italy. But you can purchase icons. They took us to a store-church shop, and then it began .... Sellers like kites rushed at every tourist, and the prices there ... at least run away. Icon from $300. Chain with pendant $2200. This is a divorce on vegetable oil ....

Then we were taken to the city of Mira. When selling the tour, the guide talked about a large amphitheater, a large area for walking and an observation deck. In fact, the ruins of the Greco-Roman theater and then the tombs of the Lycians and a bunch of shops. Everything!

On the way to the restaurant, which seemed to be near the sea but no, we were taken to an incomprehensible store that sells a very magical stone sultanite and onyx. All the way there, the guide - Rabia chattered about the fact that she had all the dishes at home made of onyx. Allegedly, it has super useful properties that purify our products and water. And only 2 families in all of Turkey have the right to mine sultanite, and now we will go to one of them ... let's see what they sell and of course we will buy something)))

Next, we had a very poor lunch. Incomprehensible soup, tasteless bulgur and a slice of watermelon per person. It was not willing to eat. The view of the dishes was far from being very…

Throughout the journey, we were told about the "magic power" of carob syrup, wonderful real Turkish sweets, which are sold only in a few stores in Antalya, and cost from $ 25 per kg, that everything in stores is chemistry, etc., and we are all listened and smiled.

We arrived at the yacht and, oh gods, a yacht - savdep with a green carpet under the grass, metal and a paid lunch with drinks were opened with white paint. Remember the remarkably transparent day, and so IT IS NOT THERE. The transparent bottom is 4 porthole windows through which 40 people want to look at the same time.

Sunken city? These are the ruins on the island, which are practically non-existent. And supposedly the remains under water. But we swam soooo fast that no one saw anything. No, you won't go to the crossing of the seas, because it's far away and you just got hit ))

Hope was for a wonderful time to swim in the sea with heavenly, clear water. Yes, don't wait. This will be the bay. No transparent bottom, no clean water. On the beach of our hotel, the water was many times cleaner and more transparent.

Remember the cafe where we had breakfast? So, at the end, on the way to the hotel, we were taken there for a wine tasting, and there, magically, there was a wine house. Just in the morning, when we were brought there, all identification marks were removed, and no one noticed anything like that.

And then let us pour the most delicious, precious nectars of Turkish wines, give sweets for testing. The Russian technologist told everything so colorfully, treated, invited. And in the end, let's offer only now and here to buy this wine and a bunch of everything as a gift. No, you won't find this anywhere else. Nope. Nowhere.

When we started asking this technologist for wine prices, he refused and said $20 per bottle, but at the checkout they will tell you the correct one.

Further, on the way to the checkout area, we were taken to a room with real Turkish sweets, which are sold in only a few places and precious, real olive oil.

So, my husband and I got screwed over. By buying a bottle of wine for $25 and a box of Turkish delight for $25, where sugar is in the first place, not carob syrup. As we left the store, we realized what the hell had happened.

Thanks for spending only $50. It's a pity for the rest of the tourists, because. rowed all they could. People only in this "wine cellar" leave $200 each.

Output. The whole chain of random trips to shops is a built-up scheme in strings between guides and shops.

Tours take less time than shopping.

Please don't waste your precious holiday time on this nonsense.

Rent a car and drive your way through the country.

It'll be cheaper for sure. Because entrance to the territory of the indicated places is a maximum of $ 7 per person, car rental is $ 60. Count yourself and take care of yourself from the guides))
