Basic things - the organization of the flight and transfer at altitude. But in non-standard situations - the tourist is not protected.
When we were swindled $100 at the hotel, neither the tour operator nor their representatives at the hotel could/wanted to do anything. Moreover, they turned out to be against us, so no one will help you in an emergency situation.
Very brazenly sell excursions, as if we are obliged to buy them.
On a free tour, I didn’t really like it either - they imposed their shops of oils and sweets. Unreasonably expensive (after all, you have to pay countless staff and Join Up). At these two points, 40 minutes were allotted, while at the sights, on average, 15. At the same time, we did not stop at a beautiful mosque on the way.
But still, we learned something new and interesting about life in Egypt, in particular about Egyptian Orthodoxy.
