The country of Georgia is wonderful, I Travel is terrible

A week ago I returned from a Mega-tour in Georgia. The country is wonderful, I advise everyone to visit at least once in their lives: the people are friendly and helpful, the nature is gorgeous, the food is delicious, the architecture of sightseeing places is amazing to the core.

And now about what obscured all these impressions during the tour:

1. The complete incompetence of the escort, who, during the two-day trip ahead and in general throughout the entire trip, could not answer a single question in detail. Only: we'll see there, we'll see, perhaps - no specifics, after what time is the next stop and where; during a stop, is it possible to get out or is it a gas station, what to take on an excursion. Often a small fraction of the information given out changed along the way without any explanation.

2. Technically faulty bus that broke down n-th number of times. The possibility of transformation was used only on the second day of the trip, and then, after a confident arrival of passengers. Some chairs were not fixed in a reclining position when sitting. The air conditioner barely breathed. A couple of times we stopped by the wrong place and had to make detours for a couple of hours.

3. Sanitary stops were made on the way forward at paid places, and I advise you to stock up on a gas mask and napkins) And only on the way back we sometimes stopped in decent places: at gas stations or shops. The declared emergency toilet does not work at all.

4. The complete lack of adequate planning of excursions and reporting information to passengers about them. All the information was presented in Viber, and the time to find a store and buy a Georgian SIM card for 200 UAH, so that you can call home freely and be on the Internet around the clock, and not in the evenings at the hotel, was not provided at all in the first two days, despite repeated requests. And then the desire to buy it and go on excursions disappeared. It was clear that the priority was to recapture the money for the excursions and get them in as much as possible. Any location was presented for half an hour or an hour. Just arrived, it's time to go back. But this is your salary, your feedback for the future from grateful customers.

5. People were left to their own devices, some got lost immediately upon settling in, some did not find a place to gather for an excursion. This has never happened in my memory on a bus tour. The escort said to the lost: I bring you and take you away, and you yourself should know everything else!!! We drove for TWO days and the whole trip had to be planned and told in detail in advance, for which they pay money on a sightseeing tour. They didn’t put any films about Georgia on us, but ordinary films, some of them twice))) We only had to ask for information ourselves, because no one told us anything in advance, and when choosing a trip not for the first, but for the second excursion per day , it could not be reached.

6. On the way back, it was said to buy groceries three days in advance, because there would be nowhere to buy, but as it turned out, there was a supermarket in Gudauri, on the way through Russia there were supermarkets at stops twice. And what was the point in the heat with a faulty air conditioner to drag a bag of groceries?

7. Only two criteria were important for me when ordering the tour - this is the top place, so that there is more air and double accommodation in the hotel, which I was sworn to when buying the tour. As a result, it turned out that during the transformation they fall into place - whoever managed, that’s the place, and settled in a three-ruble note at the hotel.

8. The promised tea, coffee was poured forward three times and back - two times, because there was not enough water.

9. The hotels provided were adequate, but their location left much to be desired.

In general, I wish everyone good luck when traveling with this company, because it will be a roulette wheel - you will be lucky if you get there and back in a positive mood and health!

Health is more expensive! Choose an air flight, and then travel around Georgia on excursions of local companies!)
