They wanted to go to Georgia for a long time and when they finally got together they wanted to organize this trip in the best possible way. We decided to use the services of the tour operator Ai Travel "MEGA tour to Batumi", we thought, they say we will pay for the organization of the tour and they will provide us with everything in the best possible way. But it was not there. So, in order.

We suspected that everything would not go so smoothly even in the process of booking the tour. In the telephone mode, "competent" managers answered questions like "look at the site everything is written there .... we have lunch now .... call back a little later etc. "At a personal meeting, we hoped that they would advise us as expertly as possible, because the company has been organizing tours to Georgia for several years, but here we were also unlucky and had to pull information from the manager with pincers. It felt like we came to the housing and communal services and in general managers are not interested in selling their services.

They decided not to change the tour operator, they thought that they just ran into interns, and then everything will be OK.

PEOPLE! Do not take a sightseeing tour! This is a complete rip-off. For example, an excursion to the Sulfur Baths costs $ 10, and if you go by yourself then $ 3-4, an excursion to Mtskheta costs $ 15, with an independent visit $ 5-7, an excursion with the beautiful name "Mountain Adjara" worth $ 25 is a show of two free waterfalls, a fortress for $ 1 and 3 hours of gatherings in a cafe with friends of the guide. In general, you will lose a day in Batumi and stupidly spend $ 25. And so on for each excursion. The organizers did a very smart thing - they collect money for excursions BEFORE arriving in Georgia, so that tourists would not have the opportunity to refuse these excursions, because. everyone already on the first day realized that they would cheat us.

Hostel in Batumi - horror! Can you imagine a 5-storey hostel with one kitchen with 4 chairs and a kettle a la 80s on a gas stove? Hostel where does not catch Wi-fi? Instead of the promised 4-6 people in the room, 8-9 people? A shower with a hole in the floor, into which after the procedure you need to drive water with a MOP?

"The price of the tour includes tea and coffee on the bus at any time" - well, of course, such a privilege was available only to drivers and accompanying persons, the rest had a chance to use this benefit 2 times. And so: "not provided, we will soon arrive at the stop, let's a little later, there is no water in the heater"

And we also got lost when moving from Tbilisi to Batumi, instead of arriving at 6 in the morning, we arrived at 2 in the afternoon. No one explained or apologized, and the day in Batumi was already lost. In general, because of the stupidly organized excursions, we never saw Batumi, not counting the sightseeing tour lasting 2 hours and free time at night =)

You can write a lot of impressions about the organization, but the main thing:

1. Georgia is a magnificent country with an extraordinary culture and gorgeous nature. Therefore, it is definitely worth going there

2. Don't be afraid to drive on your own! Believe me, you will see much more and spend much less money

3. If you are still afraid to go on your own, choose another tour operator!

We hope that the owners of the company read the reviews and draw conclusions =)
