Now that the emotions from the trip have subsided a bit, I want to share my impressions. 1. The transforming bus is not as convenient as we would like. There is very little space for legs, it is quite comfortable when unfolded, but keep in mind that if you are "lucky" like me to have a fat and snoring neighbor, then comfort is very doubtful. Plus, they lay out the chairs in the supine position not for the whole night, but, as in my case, from one in the morning until 4 in the morning. 2. Arrival in St. Petersburg was delayed by 6-7!!!! hours. Because the organizers and the management of a respected travel agency did not take care to install the GLONASS system on the bus in advance, without which movement was impossible. To sit for 6 hours in a stuffy bus and on the side of the road, believe me, it's still a pleasure. We never got an apology or any compensation. The consequences of this delay became apparent later. 3. Hostel. From the travel agency in the telegram channel:

In fact: a "cool" hostel is a cheap, dirty rooming house. Who does not believe and still goes to this hostel Dom, a surprise awaits you. True, unpleasant. Get ready for the fact that your neighbors will not be foreign tourists, but a company of guest workers and former contingents (that is, former prisoners) who will not hesitate to steal food from the refrigerator and arrange drunken gatherings in the kitchen. So you are provided with songs for the guitar. 4. Due to the delay on the way, many excursions were rescheduled, crumpled. The tour guide Nastya is an absolute non-professional. Boring, bland, monotonous. Or listen to her slurred speech, or take pictures. Both that, and that, purely physically you will not be in time. One can talk endlessly about the guide and her "pearls". "The Emperor of Berlin" and "Pushkin is buried in the cemetery" - bravo, Nastya. Tours are overpriced. We were abandoned at the Hermitage, many did not even realize that the Impressionist collection was in the building of the Winter Palace. Which is especially disappointing when you consider that a general ticket to the Hermitage, the Winter Museum and another museum on the territory of the Palace Square costs 700 rubles, although it could be bought separately for 300 rubles. 5. Composition of the group. I understand that there are many things we cannot control. The weather or fellow travelers. But. Now there is a normal practice - to make divisions by age. In my case, out of 50 people, 40 are dissatisfied, screaming, inadequate women of retirement age. Very hard. It's hard to keep a positive attitude in endless conflicts. 6. I will not say anything about minor shortcomings in the logistics of excursions. Good excursions would have corrected the negative impression, but this did not happen. Outcome. I regret that my acquaintance with the magnificent St. Petersburg happened precisely with Aitravel. It seems that they have been taking them there for several years, and the trip is so raw and unworked. The kids still have room to grow. I wish them to take into account all the shortcomings and mistakes, and only be better. But I will not recommend this travel agency to anyone, I will save everyone mood and money.
