No one is safe from the weather, but even she did not spoil anything

From landing to departure everything was great. We were picked up at the airport by our driver, taken straight to our hotel and they even prepared a very detailed guide for our self-guided day tour of Reykjavik.

On the second day, we were picked up by our Icelandic mountain tour guide. There were 6 people on the bus (including him). That day the weather was not the best, the wind was strong. Many day tours have been cancelled. But we still found something to do, we learned a lot from the history and geographical features of Iceland, it turned out to be very entertaining.

The next two days we drove even further, went to Glacier Bay on the Diamond Coast, and also walked on the glacier and really walked on the ice. I highly recommend the Skaftafellstof glacier walk! We also marveled at the black sand beach, waterfalls and great views before ending our private tour and heading back to the capital. From start to finish everything was done perfectly and we had nothing to worry about. Well, no one is immune from the weather.
