Travel agency: Guru Travel (Kyiv) Service type: пакетный тур |
If you want to spoil your vacation, contact Guru Travel. These are very dishonest people. We bought a tour from them to the Queen'sParkGoynuk hotel, Turkey. At the same time, we first studied the offers of other travel agencies and read all the reviews on this hotel on the Internet. Having read that in bungalows (which are much cheaper) rest is much worse - we drew the attention of the travel agency that we were only interested in hotel rooms. The price that we were given corresponded to the average for travel agencies, and we were confirmed that we would fly to hotel rooms, which are about $160 more expensive for 10 days. We signed a contract (which, unfortunately, does not indicate the type of room anywhere) and paid an advance for the reservation. A few days later it turned out that the amount for the tour would be more by about 1500 UAH. The reason was the cost of my mother's insurance, since she is over 50 years old (we fly all over the world and this is the first time we have encountered such a requirement), and the Pegas Touristik tour operator put this insurance on us without any warning! Maybe even then it was necessary to sound the alarm and think about the "coherence" of the actions of the travel agency and the tour operator. Since half the amount of the tour had already been paid, we had no choice but to agree. A few days before departure, we were given a stack of poor quality promotional literature about Turkey with gray beads, incl. a voucher that indicated the type of room “Club”, which we did not pay attention to. Imagine our surprise upon arrival in Turkey, when it turned out that this is the bungalow. Calls to Ukraine did not solve anything. At first, representatives of GuruTravel shifted the blame to the PegasTouristik tour operator, then they told us that it was originally a bungalow and we knew about it! This is just the height of cynicism and meanness.
At the same time, my sister and her husband flew to Turkey with us through another agency for the same money and lived in a hotel room. Negotiations with representatives of the PegasTouristik company also did not give anything - they simply said to contact their travel agency. We were also refused at the PegasTouristik office in Antalya. This, by the way, also does not paint the tour operator, who, in theory, represents our interests here. In fact, no one needed us.
As a result, we lived in bungalows in which the stench of the sewer was sickening, double beds (on which we slept with my sons of 8 and 11 years old), there was water in the sink, no bath, but only a shower, smoky, no internet and many others. "charms" that absolutely correspond to everything that is written in the reviews about the bungalows of this hotel. Upon our return, they listened to us, promised to sort it out, accepted a package of documents, asked to make corrections), dragged out time and over the phone refused to reimburse just the difference in the cost of a hotel room and a bungalow.
In general, if you want to have a normal rest, do not mess with Guru Travel and the unreasonably expensive Pegas Touristik tour operator.
