My husband and I bought this tour from the travel agency "Let's go with us" in Kharkov, and the tour operator was Dove Tour. The trip took place from 2.05-9.05.2013. I want to note that I express my opinion about the company only because I want to help them avoid these mistakes in the future and help tourists with the choice of travel agency.

So, by and large, you can’t spoil the impression of Krakow and Prague in any way - the cities are very beautiful and interesting. BUT! The organization of the trip was initially terrible.

CONS OF THE TRIP and the nuances we encountered:

1. We were not told our seats on the bus. The girl from the travel agency promised places in the middle, but in fact we were sitting almost at the very end. Having traveled the way from Kyiv to Lviv - 8 hours - in Lviv, the half-bus was asked to transfer 2 seats back, as our attendant was sent the wrong layout on the bus! Sorry, but how can this be? to confuse a 2-tiered bus with an ordinary one ... is incomprehensible to the mind.

2. at night we crossed the border and in the morning we had to have breakfast and go on an excursion to the Wieliczka salt mines (25 euros). BUT! in the morning it turned out to be 4 am, when the whole bus had to have breakfast and clean up. WHY has no one warned about this? our "guide" could not answer this question.

3. Regarding the "guide". Cute blonde girl. Unfortunately, she turned out to be one of those... I can understand that it was not her fault for the misinformation, but she told absolutely nothing about the cities and the area that we passed, although usually the person accompanying the group should have at least elementary knowledge about the country.

4. There was a terrible guide in Krakow - Irina. It was clearly visible how she was looking forward to the end of the tour and really wanted to go home. After 15 minutes of SUCH an excursion, we separated from the group and, as it turned out, saw much more.

5. When asked if there will be shops near the hotel in Krakow, the guide answered yes, and a lot. In fact: it turned out to be a completely different hotel, there are no shops, people without dinner, I had to order delivery. WHERE IS THE ORGANIZATION???!!

6. The cost of the tour included sightseeing tours, but in Prague I had to pay for headphones - terrible for 3 euros. Why couldn't they be included in the price? and even then they have a red price of 3 UAH.

7. Unexpectedly, there were not enough places for two girls in the Prague hotel. This puzzled me completely! How are there not enough seats? they were resettled in another much worse place. But it could also "not be enough" for any member of the group. Just awful!

8. We did not take additional excursions to Vienna, Dresden, etc. but the reviews of our fellow travelers confirm the illiterate organization of the company. For example, a visit to the Dresden Gallery was promised, BUT it turned out to be closed ... judge for yourself.

9. The group consisted of 60-65 people. All visas were open for a different number of days. So we have until 8.05, someone has until 23.05, and so on. Because of those who have 8.05 we lost 1 day in Prague. I explain: in order to get to the border on time, we had to leave Prague at 8.00. Although our program clearly states that the last day of the tour is at the discretion of the guide. WE DID NOT open visas! Therefore, the question remains open - why are visas open back-to-back? This was the reason for the early departure. Obviously, the company decided to save on one day of spending the night.

10. Another such moment. In the tour program, the estimated time of arrival in Lviv (7-00) and Kyiv (18-00) was written. But in fact we arrived in Lviv at 2:00 am, and in Kyiv at 11:00 am. I understand the meaning of the word approximately. BUT sorry 5 hours difference!!! There were people with children who went out in Lviv. What are they supposed to do at night!? It is unacceptable.

11. Toilet stops were very long, they could have been made smaller with a properly organized tour. Stopping for 1-1.5 hours is too much. Naturally, 1 toilet for 60 people, you know ...

FROM THE POSITIVE MOMENTS:

1. The bus as a whole is not bad. And the drivers were very, very happy. helped and supported in every possible way.

2. I liked the hotels! especially in Prague! http://www.hotelalexandra.cz/ it is next to the train, bus stop, so I advise everyone. Comfortable, clean, delicious food

3. They say that you don’t have to take a tour in the village, but we were interested. And there is no point in sitting in this force for 3 hours and waiting for the group. In this case, it is better to separate and go to Krakow, in my opinion 15 km in total.

4. There was a very cool guide in Prague - Slavik. Well done!

even suggested where to change money cheaply, although there it is not a problem.

In general, the trip was a success, Prague is great, but the organization leaves much to be desired.

At the end I will give excursions, museums worth visiting - they are beautiful! The prices are reasonable, but I don't remember all of them exactly.

Museum of Mucha and Dali near the main town hall with a clock (250 CZK both)

Museum of Technology (WILL NOT GUARANTEE!)

museum of urban transport (35 CZK)

Veletensky Palace (six-story gallery building with works by the great masters of the IMPRESSIONISTS!!)

Toy Museum (70 CZK)

Climb the town hall (100 crowns)

Theaters - many different

Philharmonic

Botanical Garden (there was an exhibition of live butterflies = 120 kroons) + a huge Zoo (I think 150 or 170 kroons)

Krizhikov fountains (220 kroons)

Visegrad. very beautiful church.

That's probably all! Good luck on your travels.
