Travel agency: DAV Club (Kyiv) Service type: экскурсионный тур |
We went in the month of July. I used the services of the company for the first time, before that there was another Lviv company. Comparing with previous trips, I can say that this one was a solid three. ))
Otherwise, everything was buzzing - the conder worked, the drivers are excellent!
The first was Krakow, a great old city with a castle and old streets.
The hotel in Poland was in some remote village ..
Berlin is something, we didn’t take excursions, all the sights are in the center ... you just need to download a map with all interesting places in advance. Checkpoint Charlie and Sony Center were very memorable. The area around Sony Center is a masterpiece of modern architecture.
Then there was Amsterdam, Bruges and Ghent. Amster is good for everyone, you need to cook in it, there are many channels, quiet streets. I advise you to find a suitable water transport yourself, especially since the prices are cheaper than in the price list of a travel agency (it is clear that the work of a guide and so on). But if you want to feel the spirit of the city, I advise you to take a walk on your own.
You can safely skip Ghent and immediately go to Bruges. It was surprising that the girl who did not buy a tour of the Belgian cities was dropped off in the backyards of Ghent and she had to get to Bruges herself.
I liked Bruges very much, because of it I probably chose this tour. The guide was frankly boring, a lot of boring stories and some of her trips around Russia, about her friends.
Next was France. The hotel was not just in the ass, but somewhere else about 5 kilometers further. In the Orly airport area, there are no buses, no metro, not even the ubiquitous RER. Just some kind of getos. Dirty, dead rooms, spots on the carpet, a dirty bath and all the other delights of such hotels. If one day those who did not buy excursions were taken by bus to Paris (precisely Paris, because where the hotel was, it’s not even a city), then on the second day they simply said that we they won’t take it, and we had to order a special bus at the hotel a day in advance, which brings it to the nearest RER station, which is about 15 minutes away. It’s good that I asked the concierge the day before about the nearest supermarkets and metro stops ... and he mentioned their bus. Some tourists begged the guide to give them a ride to Paris, naturally not for thanks. Fortunately, we successfully got on our own. Bastille, Algol in my two late days hosted turis tov in the Port de Orleans area (terminal station of metro line 14).
Of course, I was surprised by such a shitty attitude towards those who did not buy excursions. Riding twice with Algol, I did not meet such an attitude.
But it didn't spoil my impressions of Paris.))
The final chord was Nuremberg. A very beautiful old castle and a calm city.
I don’t know if I will go again with this company, but the fact that hotels are located in the middle of nowhere and there is no opportunity to go from the hotel to the city on my own is a minus. So, to summarize, we can say that the trip is average.)))
