Several couples, deceived by the same scheme, tried to solve the situation with us; but they didn't succeed - they were also "played football" like us!
Our main condition when choosing a tour was the location of the hotel on the 1st beach line.
Manager Natasha (Ogienko, 15A) offered us a tour of Fortuna Marmaris Beach 4 * and assured that in any case it will be the first line of the beach.
But on arrival at the place it turned out that the hotel Club Munamar (36.799476, 28.232774), where we are accommodated, is located on the 3rd beach line and does not correspond to the level of 4 stars:
The road to the beach always had to be overcome through city streets with heavy traffic.
The basis of the diet - vegetables and vegetables. From meat - sometimes chicken. Cutlets (from deep-frozen semi-finished products) and sausage - it is better not to take.
Some fish is either thawed or overcooked so that it is dry as crumbs.
Sweets - or cakes, or pieces of semolina soaked in sugar syrup.
Sweet drinks like Pepsi and fanta - to your heart's content. And "juices" are juice drinks that are fortified with sugar, citric acid and dyes.
Free "coffee" is a chicory drink. And real coffee only for money: 3-8 lire for a small cup.
We were constantly warned about theft: you can not leave things unattended on the beach, and in the room it is better to hide everything in a suitcase.
By the way, use the safe in the room for a fee (despite the onlinks).
The beach is not pebbles, but it cannot be called sandy; rather, it is crushed stone along with construction debris.
As you walk along the beach, a cloud of gray dust rises behind you. There are many yachts in the bay, so often when you go into the water, you see a thin ball of oil on the water.
The beach line along the entire coast of Icmeler is interrupted by canals from which urban sewage flows (muddy spots can be seen on Google maps), so it was difficult to find a clean beach.
A separate story about Wi-Fi: it is said to exist, but the signal strength and speed are such that only "registration on the network" is enough.
To our objections and claims, the travel agency Coral Travel sent us to its partner - the travel agency JoinUp, and abdicated responsibility.
JoinUp did not answer phone calls at all.
How can we resist the fraud of such travel agencies?
