It was this operator that was offered by the travel agency, which has been sending us on trips for several years, because it was during the desired period and precisely at the specific hotel that Anex had the lowest price - and significantly lower (more than $ 150 for two). In the current situation, it was extremely pleasant for us and influenced the final decision to go :) Upon returning, the following nuances can be noted:
1. At the airport, after meeting with the guide, they waited for the transfer for more than 1.5 hours, the guide could not say exactly when the bus would arrive (every 15-20 minutes we were told that in another 15 minutes, because police posts and checks). Previously, we traveled 5 times with Pegasus and Tez - the transport was always waiting for tourists.
2. During the transfer, the buses were stopped at some police posts and detained from 20 minutes to 1 hour. Perhaps, indeed, these are security measures, but instead of 2.5-3 hours of transfer, we were on the road for more than 5 hours.
For me personally, there is nothing worse than waiting and catching up. Therefore, it’s better to have a 2.5 hour return transfer and wait 2 hours before checking in at the airport. BUT - all posts were allowed back freely.
3. Hotel guide: he was friendly, he already knew that we were in the same hotel 4 times, so he clarified where we were, but we were everywhere :))), and briefly spoke about the new excursion (not new, just the route is somewhat different, and so - all the same - the canyon, the Bedouins, swimming). He reminded me that he was waiting for our call with a decision :) I immediately wrote down my number, said that you can always call him from the reception. Since there are few guests, he comes to the hotel only on request. A day before departure, the information board will have a printout with information on the return transfer and departure. In fact, after a few hours from the appointed time, nothing appeared on the board, we turned to the reception, they called him and I got information from him for us. He was absolutely not embarrassed that the agreements were not fulfilled, he did not apologize. Projecting the situation on less experienced tourists, I think that this is a cause for concern on the eve of departure - the absence of the promised information from the operator.
