The tour was ordered from AnexTour. Shortly before the tour, I read a lot of reviews from tourists who were accommodated in the 6th Ambassador building. Having contacted the travel agency, we were assured that AnexTour did not conclude an agreement for the 6th building, and we should not worry. Initially, the departure time was from Odessa at 12:00, but the carrier moved it (beautifully explaining that legally this is all completely allowed, up to the cancellation of the charter) at 18:00, thereby, in fact, stealing one day from us. Upon arrival at the hotel around 23:00, we were settled in the 2nd building, where there is a dining room (it’s hard to call it a restaurant).

On the main points:

The room for three people was very small. A double bed and one sofa, which, when unfolded, took up almost the entire space in the room. Housekeeping is a different story. She was extremely idiosyncratic. Towels were changed every couple of days, sometimes leaving the old ones, just folding them again, or even changing only some towels, leaving the dirty ones lying on the floor. No one's bed was changed even once during the 9 days of rest. The only thing is that it was carefully leveled and the duvet cover was folded into an accordion. No one took out the garbage from the toilet and the room (trash cans, empty bottles, etc.). Several times I witnessed this so-called cleaning: a languid cleaner with a rag drew one continuous line from the balcony to the door, looked around the room, not even remembering the toilet. On the beach, someone said that on the way to their room, they stumbled upon the cleaning lady’s room and went in there, and saw everything that they didn’t give this year: slippers, shower gels, cosmetic sets, water - various trifles that cost pennies, but even this year they managed to save.

Everything about nutrition is subjective. Some people like it, some don't. We never left there hungry, but on some days the choice of dishes was objectively very poor. Breakfast almost every day was the same and very modest. It can be seen that there is not enough staff, so one unfortunate cook here fried an omelette, and turned over scrambled eggs, and ran for new trays. A few days were downright festive compared to the rest: white tablecloths, a much larger selection of dishes and fruits. In principle, food is more or less 4-star, although, compared with previous years, it has become much worse.

We learned from one hotel worker that this year this hotel was rented out. This says it all and where do not look. These are teenage children on vacation as waiters in the dining room, awkwardly running among the tables and picking up (and sometimes losing, breaking) dishes, these are incompetent receptionists, no cleaners. But the main problem is the management of the hotel. It is practically non-existent. Problems with paid paid Internet were solved with difficulty through the manager, who turned out to be an excellent option for such a hotel - black-mouthed to horror, rude to guests.

There were several fights with the receptionist. The accusation of inaction and the absence of even the slightest work was met with hysteria from the receptionist girl and her leaving the workplace.

On the beach, having met other guests of the hotel, we learned many stories about the 6th building. Operators (JoinUp, TezTour) simply threw people away, without telling at the time of purchase that you were going to the originally built staff building a kilometer from the beach and even further to the main building where the dining room is. Or, very unobtrusively, they were offered to pay extra at the reception and move to good rooms (from $ 30 per person per day to $ 100 - a new price every day).

Someone staged a boycott and spent the night at the reception, not even wanting to go to the 6th building, someone put up with such a scam operator and, having swallowed all the shit in which they lowered you, continued to find beauty in this not beautiful hotel.

The hotel saves on everything that is possible - on the beach you can not drink drinks brought from the hotel bar. That is, buy at a bar on the beach at exorbitant prices. In the evening, going down to the pier, it turned out that the entrance to it became paid - 1 euro. These are such small things, but they make a bad overall impression. And since when, in Turkey, where everything is in liras or dollars, suddenly all hotel services became in Euros? :) And then they did not miss the opportunity to earn extra money.

The return transfer from Odessa to Kherson was perhaps the best end to this trip. Converted into a passenger minibus, it was crowded with people and in the very heat (August) was without air conditioning. He wasn't there at all. Many thanks to the operator for such an end to the tour, to ride in a stuffy, smelly, crowded bus for more than 4 hours in the heat without air conditioning.
