The tour operator seems to be good, but the guides at the Festival Riviera Resort are just awful!!!

My friends and I decided to go to Egypt, we chose tours for a long time, looked through the offers of various agencies, tour operators and we chose an excellent offer at a good price from Anex Tour.

There were no problems, the plane was moved - we were immediately informed about it. For what. thank you very much!

But upon arrival at the hotel, we were met by not very pleasant guides. There are 5 people there, but we talked with these people: Hussam Talaat and Mohamed Desouky.

1) Some difficulties arose during the settlement, well, we didn’t like our room, they wanted to change it, the guides kept repeating, there is a problem - contact us, we will help you, we will solve everything. In the end - nothing. Well, it's okay, we didn't come to sit in the room)

2) Next day, morning meeting. The meeting was held by a more pleasant guide, his name is Mohamed Adel, on the whole he explained sensibly about the rules at the hotel, talked for a long time about the excursions. I understand it's their job. At the end, he gave out a form to fill out, in which you had to indicate your data, room number and excursion.

Everything was filled in, the excursion field was left empty. Well, we were not ready to take it and decide in a couple of hours where we want to go. The budget was limited, so I wanted to think, decide that everyone would be interested and only then buy.

Seeing the empty field of excursions, the guide Mohamed Desoku (yes, forgive me if I wrote it wrong) was very indignant, saying why, we must take and go, Egypt is interesting, etc., we tried to explain that they say we will think, decide and be sure to choose something then, to which a very ugly question followed: “what, no money? Poor?”, the husband is indignant, but he tried to explain the whole situation very correctly again, but they didn’t hear us, but simply repeated there was no money, give money. It's very annoying to hear that!

After a couple of minutes, we were asked to transfer to Husam (as far as I understood, he is the main one there)

A very nasty-looking man, he began to talk about the fact that he simply does not believe that we have not decided yet, we need to take and buy an excursion right now, he began to repeat that he knows Ukrainians and our mentality, again the phrase about no money, that we we are always looking for balls and his wife is Ukrainian and we breed him.

After long conversations and explanations, we really did not want to contact the guides, they are not unpleasant, and as a result they refused to buy something at all, forced us to write that we refuse and the guides are not responsible.

3) During the entire stay at the hotel, the guides never once said hello when they passed by them, although I'm sure they remembered us. Absolutely in the same tone communicated with other visitors. They noticed that they had similar conflicts with visitors.

Dear tour operator, Anex tour! Please, explain in more detail how the guides should behave, in what tone to talk with tourists, and what phrases should not be pronounced at all (I'm talking about the poor and money), such guides simply spoil the image of your company !!!

In the future, I will think 100 times before buying a tour from this operator.

P.S. According to the reviews of other tourists (2 middle-aged women who came to Egypt for the first time), having bought an excursion from the guide, the guide did not bother to warn people that an arafatka or a scarf was needed in sugar, as a result, tourists bought it there for $ 5, and at the hotel , for example, they bought it used for $ 2, on the second excursion, the guide also did not warn that there would be a lot of additional expenses and their cost (riding along the Nile, entering the tombs)
