Horror!!!

Just returned from Egypt and immediately decided to write a review about a disgusting vacation, thanks to Anex tour!!!! We didn’t go anywhere for two years, we saved up money + course! I went to the annex tour website, chose a hotel, 5 *, first coastline, all inclusive, sand, everything is fine ... Booked and paid right away (instant confirmation).

And as soon as we arrived, our adventures began.

The site indicated that the hotel was 5 *, with a sandy beach on the first coastline, according to the photo everything was clean and beautiful, 3 pools, one of them heated, one simple, and one for children. (There was no information that one pool was lowered, it appeared at the time when we started swearing in Egypt)

Upon arrival we were shocked to the tips of our toes!!!

Everything is in order. We arrived at the hotel at 10:00 in the morning, check-in at the hotel after 12:00, we were put on bracelets and we, happy, went for a walk around the hotel. It was just awful!!!

1. The pools were lowered, cigarette butts were lying at the bottom of the children's pool, the workers opened all the paths with something sticky, it was simply impossible to pass without stepping into this sticky mass. There were 4 of us, all ruined their shoes. We think, okay, it doesn’t matter, we’ll buy new ones. It only got worse from there!!!

2. We went to the bar in the hotel lobby - there are water coolers, took glasses to get water - it didn’t work out - the water smells damp and stinks, it seems that the water is not from the cooler, but just from the sewer, no one can drink such water smog. All dishes were used, all the cups were drunk, dirty!!!

3. It was time for lunch - we went to a restaurant, we were completely horrified!!! Cockroaches crawl just on the tables, moreover, they are everywhere, in restaurants, in the lobby, in the toilets in the lobby of the hotel, they crawl on the toilets !!!

4. We went to look at our numbers and were just taken aback!!! The walls are either "splattered", or smeared with an incomprehensible substance, resembling either vomiting, or critical days (sorry in advance) !!! The hair dryer is hanging by a thread in the toilet, now it will fall off, there were simply no mirrors in two rooms !!! There was hair on the bottom of the bathroom and dirt on the floor. They took off the cover from the bed - the sheets were full of holes, someone's black hair on the pillows, it stinks of some kind of medicine (apparently they forgot to change the bed from previous visitors). In the center of the room there is a glass table with a crack on the whole table and a chopped off corner!! At night, you can cut yourself everything that you can. Again, dear friends everywhere - cockroaches.

5. All the walls are covered with mold, fungus, holes in the ceilings, baseboards everywhere have moved down on the walls, dirt is everywhere. Near one room they found a whole bunch of cigarette butts mixed with dirt and building materials. Empty bottles of roach repellents lay in bins in the corridors above.

The day was just ruined, we immediately called the guide to the hotel, they said that this was some kind of mistake, they say here is a photo of the hotel on the tour operator's website, but here is the reality. The guide said that he could not help us in any way and said to contact anex Ukraine! We said that we would not stay in this "barn". The guide began to find out if resettlement was possible.

During this time, we learned at the hotel desk that on January 15, the hotel administration sent out a newsletter to all partners that the hotel was REPAIR!!! But no one told us about it))) We found out that the annex in this hotel has blocks of rooms, and these redeemed blocks must be sold!!! At this price??? We asked for at least some paper confirmation that this is a 5 * hotel, again - no one gave us anything. From the guests of the hotel (and there were no more than 20 of them in the whole hotel !!! and everyone came from the annex tour) we were told that they were also shocked by this hotel and that they simply did not have the means to move out of this barn, because people were buying a hotel 5* and "all inclusive"!!! They told us that a mobile phone was stolen from one of the tourists right from a closed safe! We witnessed the threats and screams of the guides of the annex tour towards the tourists, so that the tourists would sign a paper on the refusal of insurance, in case the tourists buy, God forbid, excursions from someone else, and not from the annex tour !!! And excursions at the annex tour are twice as expensive as just at the tour desk !!! We started filming it all on a mobile phone, so the guides saw it, started snatching these papers, tearing them up, and one guide even ate a piece of paper from such a questionnaire!!!

After some time, we were told that we could be moved to another hotel, of course, for our money, so we also have to pay for a taxi from hotel to hotel !!! What do we have to pay for??? Anex initially gave incorrect information about the hotel, they didn’t warn that the hotel was being renovated (and we asked the booking manager 5 times if everything was in order with the hotel) and we still have to pay for something ??? It was just awful! We were promised that Anex Egypt would contact Anex Ukraine, so they did not even deign to call. I called myself and they told me that they do not know anything about our problem at all!!! Very operational work))) Moreover, in Hurghada we were given one price for an extra charge, and later Anex tour contacted us and announced the amount twice as much!!! They also wanted to make money on this!

We decided to pay on the spot because we simply had no choice! Either stay in this shed and ruin your other 9 days of vacation or pay and move! (we have all bills)

We returned to Kyiv, wrote a pre-trial claim for the Anex tour with a request to return the money for an additional payment for another hotel and demanding moral compensation. We have all the photos and videos! Help or advise what to do next ... Getting ready to sue.
