Despite the fact that we chose a wonderful hotel in a wonderful place in Egypt, the holiday was spoiled by the actions of the Anex Tour employees. The guides of this travel agency offer expensive excursions in comparison with all the others. Everyone agrees to buy from them, because. they promise that the organization of Anex Tour is a guarantee of safety, service and a solution to all problems that may arise during excursions. Most importantly, the guides from Anex Tour say that they are responsible for people.
In fact, everything turned out to be not as cloudless as Anex Tour draws. One of the tours, for which they received a full prepayment, the guides canceled and did not warn anyone. Everything would be fine if the tour was not supposed to start at 5:00 (!!!) in the morning. As a result, this early morning we had to call at least one of the representatives of Anex Tour to get an answer that the tour was canceled and the day was ruined.
But all this would be nothing compared to the problems during a tour in the desert on quads. During the trip, one of the participants in the column cut me off and I rolled over on the ATV. Despite the severity of the accident, the guide preferred to pretend that these were the little things in life, and there was simply no escort from the Anex Tour, who was required to be on every excursion. As a result, I was dragged through the desert with injuries all day, and the accompanying jeep did not even have a first-aid kit (!!!). When an ambulance arrived a few hours later, the boy nurse (looking about 17 years old) could only treat the wounds with iodine, because. there was nothing else in his suitcase, and when he saw the injuries, he himself was in a fainting state.
As a result, when we arrived at the hotel and turned to the guide from Anex Tour for help, he said that the workers examined the injuries during the tour and there was nothing serious (how can a non-medic assess the injuries?!). After that, the guide skillfully ran away from work and tried to avoid us all the following days.
In general, we did not receive assistance in Egypt, because the insurance company stated that we have a basic policy that does not cover the solution of problems received during outdoor activities and we must contact the tour operator from which we purchased vouchers. I couldn't even get painkillers or sedatives anywhere.
Only when I arrived in Kyiv did I manage to get to a normal doctor and get an X-ray, etc. As a result: a lot of bruises, open wounds, a violation of the ligamentous apparatus of the arm and a broken rib. And the representatives of Anex Tour said that it's okay and no help is needed!!!
