Anex did not choose the company, just chose the tour provided by Anex Tour.
The package tour was purchased for 6 nights/7 days.
Initially, it was proposed to depart around 16 on the first day and return at around 11:00 on the 7th day.
Paid $20 to Anex for each tourist in order to get a morning flight to rest. Got a flight at 8:00. So that's great.
A few days before departure, I am informed that Anex canceled its flights from Egypt on 24.04, and that we will fly out on 25.04 + was informed that tourists would not pay extra for an extra day and that these costs would be covered by Anex, since this was a problem on the part of the tour operator. I understand that they have the right to change the time of departures, but this should be within a day and with the use of common sense. As a result of this postponement, I had to restructure my plans globally, lose money on ticket exchanges for trips planned after returning from vacation, etc. Well, OK. There were no options: either agree to 25.04 or refuse the tour.
The day before departure, another news arrives in Egypt: the morning flight (for which I paid $ 20 extra for each tourist) was rescheduled for 15:00. When asked about the return of my surcharge for the morning flight (which did not take place), an official refusal came. Allegedly, they were kind enough not to require me to pay extra for an extra day (which arose due to the fact that they canceled flights, and for the same reason I also incurred personal extra expenses), but, on account of this extra day, they write off my surcharges for the missed morning flight.
That is, initially they presented this as their problem, which they compensate for with a free day, and then, when I raised the issue of returning the surcharge, the issue was immediately decided not in my favor.
That is, if initially I had not paid extra for the morning flight, then in the same way I would have taken off at lunchtime and returned a day later due to the cancellation of the flight and for less money. The fee went up in the air. And it's useless to argue.
Also, a family rested with us, also from Anex, which was originally supposed to fly to rest in the morning of the 1st day and fly out in the evening of the 7th day. What is the result? The flights were changed and they arrived in the evening of the 1st day and departed in the early morning of the 7th day. Total, lost two paid days.
I used to always fly with Join up and never had any problems.
I contacted Anex for the first and last time. Not only do they not care about the time and plans of their customers (postponing flights to other days), they “steal” up to 30% of the vacation time from tourists, they also do not want to return money for additional services paid by tourists that Anex could not provide.
