Purchased a 7 day tour. The office did not really know information about the hotel. They assured me that it was a very quiet place and everything was fine, but it turned out not quite so. The visa was issued quickly and in general there are no big complaints about the Kyiv office.
But here in Greece - this is something! The points:
- Group transfer to and from the hotel is very slow - the bus is large, they take everyone for a long time. The road, which could take 1 hour, dragged on for 4 hours.
- Excursions are expensive, the guide does not always talk about the topic, but is distracted a lot by the current economic situation. Meals are not included in the price, but at the same time they lead to the most (!) Expensive restaurant. Therefore, it is better to take with you so as not to overpay three times for lunch.
- Since in Greece all museums are open until 3 or 4 o'clock in the afternoon, during the excursion you visit places either little or spend very little time on them.
- The transfer on the excursion is also very slow, at the end we were transferred to the wrong bus at all and it took a long time to find out who should carry whom. Some tourists the driver forgot to start at all, so I had to return.
- The local representative of the tour operator is incompetent in many matters: he doesn’t know how to get there, only one company offers car rental (of course, not cheap), he resolves issues with the hotel not in favor of the tourist.
- The plane from Greece to Kyiv was delayed for 4 (!) hours and no one even apologized. We were brought to the airport 1 hour (!) before the expected departure and were very rushed with registration, so there was not much time left for Duty Free.
I would not recommend this tour operator. Since they hold a monopoly on sightseeing tours in central Greece, I advise you to rent a car and drive yourself - it turns out faster and better. Just plan ahead. A road map is given at a car rental company - they will tell you how to get there.
