Now I understand where the negative reviews come from.

I never thought that I would write a negative review, since we have been vacationing abroad for the 5th year in a row (so there is something to compare with), and I was always very surprised by the negative reviews - well, there are minor troubles, but there is much more positive. Somehow, the hotel vacation was always cool, and the excursions were interesting, a lot of impressions ... But now I understand where the negative reviews come from.

We went to Bodrum with Turtesse (by the way, we already went to Egypt with him and there were no complaints), but this time we were completely disappointed. The places are of course very beautiful, and nature, and the city itself, and there are no complaints about the Mavi Kumsal hotel either. The hotel, of course, is very modest (and the food is modest, although they never left hungry, just the choice is small, and the rooms are modest), but clean, the staff is polite, the rooms were cleaned every day without any tips, the pool is good and clean, but the hotel has practically no territory, like animations.

And now the negative:

1) the hotel guide Valeria behaved rather strangely:

-3 couples arrived at the hotel, and everyone was assigned a different time for the meeting (this was motivated by the lack of space, although there was plenty of space);

- excursions had to be bought urgently, there was no time for reflection, there were no prices for excursions either (you say to me where you want to go, and I tell you how much it costs);

- after purchasing excursions, our guide lost interest in us and we didn’t see her anymore, even the time of departure back to the airport was not reported (I had to call her on the phone, remind her of her duties)

2) excursions suck and scam, now it became clear why they were so urgently sold to us, until we found out about them from the poor fellows who had already gone. So in order:

- "Bodrum city tour" is really just a shopping tour, and although it is free (i.e. we were told its cost is included in the tour package), it is a pity for the lost time, as well as money for a taxi back to the hotel, because not everyone can withstand it;

- an excursion to Ephesus costs 75 dollars and takes the whole day of the rest paid at the hotel, although it is only 1 hour drive from Bodrum to Ephesus, and the excursion itself lasts a little over an hour. Those. in fact, you can go on this excursion from breakfast to lunch (well, or to the kraynyak from early morning until lunch for sure). We were taken from the hotel at 5:30 in the morning, fed breakfast, then lunch, then they also managed to drive around the salons of ceramics and leather clothes (where, by the way, everything is very expensive) and brought to the hotel only for dinner. And all for the sake of an hour tour of Ephesus (the entrance ticket to which costs some minuscule amount of about 8 dollars) in the very sun;

-but the coolest excursion turned out to be "On the islands of the Aegean Sea on a yacht", in the description of which there were about 5 different islands that we had to visit, with a variety of attractions. In fact, we were brought to only one unremarkable island, then they took us to some dirty beach (on the mainland), and swim in the bay. In general, an ordinary boat trip of average scall, and not an excursion "On the islands of the Aegean Sea" for 50 dollars per person.

In general, it’s very disappointing not only for the wasted money and precious time, but also for the fact that they hold us for suckers, stupidly bred for grandmas.
