“Summer children's recreation in children's health camps (DOL). Crimea." - This is an advertisement on the website of the Khan-Tegri travel agency ( http://www.han-tengry.mk.ua/deti-krym-sev.shtml#1) . After reading this ad, already, at least, one can doubt the professionalism of the company's employees, who themselves do not read advertisements on their own website. In fact, everything is much worse: This proposal has nothing to do with RECREATION, especially in the CHILDREN'S HEALTH CAMP.
The object, called a children's health camp (DOL), is located on the outskirts of a dacha cooperative with an optimistic name "Success". True, this dacha cooperative is indeed located on Cape Fiolent. There is no need to talk about some picturesque views from the territory of the DOL. In addition to neighboring summer cottages and buildings of various sizes and shapes located on them, unfortunately you will not be able to see anything from the nature of the Crimea, even if you go beyond the fence. DOL is located on a summer cottage with an area of no more than 4 acres, surrounded by a concrete fence about 2.5 meters high, and a deaf iron gate. There is, in general, no greenery that, in any way, would brighten up this dull look. On these 4 acres, two barracks (sleeping buildings) and a detached house for "counselors" are built with the letter "G". The space between the buildings, called the courtyard, is laid with gray paving slabs. There are no additional buildings or structures (arbours, a playground, a first-aid post, an isolation ward, showers, toilets, and eventually temporary sheds for shade), which is due to the meager area of the DOL. Rooms with an area of no more than 8 square meters, of which up to 2 squares are occupied by a bathroom with a toilet bowl and a washbasin. The height of the rooms in the barracks (I beg your pardon, but after what I saw, I can’t find other words for designating places where children have to “rest” and sleep) no more than 2.3 meters, the ceiling is sewn up with the cheapest plastic “lining”, the walls are painted , the roof is flat, shed. The window (window) is located near the door and overlooks the courtyard. You can read only under artificial lighting, or under the scorching sun. On the remaining area, along the perimeter, there are four wooden beds and bedside tables. And it's all. Now try to imagine this "comfort". Due to the fact that the water is imported, flushing the toilet is obtained no more than once a day, drinking water, in general, is not provided. There are as many as 2 shower rooms for the entire DOL: one for boys, the other for girls (a group of "holidays" up to 30 people). Given the lack of shade and air conditioning, the number of people in the room, you can imagine the state of the air in these rooms, the temperature of which does not drop even in the morning. In order to provide access to at least some amount of hot air from paving slabs, the doors to the room, to the delight of mosquitoes and other insects, are wide open around the clock. The pool in the courtyard is most likely a mirage, it simply does not exist there.
Particular, and maybe the main attention should be paid to the dining room. It stands no less than 400 meters from the DOL, on the territory adjacent to the military unit of the Russian Navy. The road to the dining room, like all the roads that you have to walk during the "rest", is a mixture of gravel and dust. This dining room is common for all citizens who want to poison themselves in it. Moreover, in the dining room there is an announcement that employees of military unit No. xxxxx of the Russian Navy can do this without a queue. Numerous facts of poisoning and indigestion of children speak eloquently about the quality and assortment of the dishes offered, up to 40% of whom have experienced it themselves. And in the staff of educators (counselors), there are no people, at least with elementary medical knowledge. There is nowhere to call an ambulance, DOL has no address and no name. You won't find it on your own. They try to hide the facts of poisoning and other diseases in the DOL, including resorting to various tricks in order to prevent children from telling their parents this information.
Sea and beach. Yes, they are great! But, the road from DOL to the sea takes at least 30 minutes under the scorching sun, and back, at an accelerated pace, 1 hour. A steep descent along the stairs, and sometimes just over the stones, on the way back there is already an ascent, requiring great physical effort from those who like to swim and sunbathe. For more kids, if they're lucky enough not to get food poisoning, the memories of going to and from the beach are the most frustrating.
Conclusion: It is easy to correct grammatical errors in the announcement, but restoring the child's lost health, at their own expense, requires a longer time and investment.
