Dear forum members,

I want to share my, unfortunately, negative experience about working with the tour operator Britur / Britur Ukraine. And, finally, I can calmly tell the whole story, having a six-month visa to Great Britain in my passport. I really want others to learn from my bitter experience.

So. Being in search of a company that could professionally advise and help with the preparation of documents for an English visa, I decided to contact the travel agency Britur / Britur Ukraine. The site impressed me, they deal with all categories of visas, including complex ones, for example, a fiancee visa, which I needed, i.e. experience should be. Even the Facebook page is framed. Those. It was clear that the company was developing itself. And well, there was no doubt that a company that confidently declares its professionalism keeps such incompetent employees in its staff who collect money for initial consultations and at the same time give unverified and incorrect information. The cost of the consultation is 200 euros. Plus 250 euros on the day of submission. Although the price was biting, but it’s a necessary thing, I know from my own experience that it’s better not to go to the Embassies for the unprepared, especially for a visa, the consular fee for which is 11,000 UAH.

I called and arranged a meeting with the Manager Svetlana Luniv.

Payment for the consultation -200 euros, paid and the consultation began .... The manager accepts and comments on the collected documents:

The first document and one of the most important is the IELTS Exam Certificate.

“This Certificate is not valid,” says manager Svetlana Luniv. I wonder why??, because I took the exam at a certified center in England. To which I get the answer: "I know only one certified center - this is the British Council in Kyiv." And silence in response. I cannot believe such a mistake, because several times before taking the exam I asked where I could take this exam. But who knows, maybe something has changed in the rules, the person who works with the Embassies always knows better. But I decide to make sure and suggest checking the list of certified centers on the Home Office website, can we see? “Oh, yes,” Svetlana says and starts looking for a link and with my help she finds ... We check, everything is OK, the exam was taken at a certified center. To my question in her eyes, Svetlana reacts with lightning speed: “But nowhere on the Certificate does it indicate that this is an authorized center!”. “So there is an address,” I say !!! “You know, it’s better to double-check everything and play it safe,” Svetlana replies calmly.

In a conversation, while the documents are being checked, the question of the timing of the bride's visa is raised. “This is a two-year visa,” says Svetlana Luniv, “so you will have to provide more documents than usual.” Wait, I say, the fiancee visa is valid for 6 months, not 2 years! "Oh, yes? We need to check, it was 2 years old. He checks - “Oh, yes, it’s only necessary for half a year.”

The next document is the decision of the court on divorce.

“You need to make an apostille on the court decision on divorce.” - Svetlana

"Why????!!! After all, it is not required! Even in England!!! - I

Answer: "Uh-huh, huh? Well then you don't have to. It’s just better to play it safe, the visa is complicated.”

And why reinsure what is not required and spend a lot of money on apostille!!!???? IF you don't need it!!!

For this unfortunate consultation, where error drives on error and unreliability, Specialist Svetlana Luniv took 200 euros.

Even then, I realized that I no longer trust anything that this person says, but the money has been paid .... We must see how it will be further.

And then the fun began! After the so-called consultation ended, and just before I left, Svetlana persistently began to talk about how she is now loaded with work, pointing to the number of some folders on the table and telling that this is also her work, of which there are so many but she will try to do everything. I didn’t know then that a person would have the audacity to do nothing!

The next day, all personal data were sent to Svetlana. After no one called me back during the day and did not offer to choose the dates for the interview, I called back myself and asked how things were progressing and when it was possible to make an appointment at the Visa Application Center to submit documents.

And then Svetlana could not stand it ....!! She explained everything in a popular way, that well, she doesn’t have time now to deal with my documents, and she has an exhibition, and the processing of some other documents and invoices, and in general ...!

When I asked why, then, did she take the money and promised to do everything if she was so busy? Why didn’t she initially warn about her employment and that she would not be able to promptly help with the documents? Although at the very beginning of the conversation, I additionally clarified - “Can you? Do we succeed?quot; They answered that yes, of course, although the deadlines are tight, but we will try to be in time and do everything on time.

Well, if YOU do not have time to deal with my documents, return the money to me and I will turn to other firms that can help me! - AHA!! NOW!!!

In response to this “ridiculous proposal”, Svetlana simply began to brazenly lie and yell into the phone that they warned me about everything (though she didn’t mention that they began to warn only after the consultation ended and the money was paid) and that no one paid me money for advice will not be returned. This ended the conversation and the situation was clear - no one would return my money to me, and to continue to hope that Svetlana Luniv would someday have time would be the limit of madness, and how can you trust a person with your documents after that. Insanely sorry for those people whose stacks of documents she showed me on her desk and said - THERE ARE PEOPLE WAIT FOR A MONTH!!!!

Then there was another call from Svelana, this time with a reproach - “How could you ask for the submission of documents on this day, if it is a day off at the Visa Application Center and “Your Englishman” should have known about it !! This day at the Visa Application Center is a day off on the occasion of European Easter!!

But what struck me the most was the letter that I received at the end of the day, Svetlana decided to follow up with a joke about how much I want and that even the MINISTER would not write me to the Embassy. In this phrase, as in the continuation of the telephone conversation, everything sounded - both a mockery and “well, what are you going to do now, having paid 200 euros, will you refuse?...”. To put it mildly, it was embarrassing. Really, realizing how important every moment is in such situations, and how couples meticulously and for a long time collect bundles of documents that also have their own expiration dates, it’s not enough for a person that it doesn’t matter, so he can also scoff??!!! And this is the professionalism of a company that declares on every website that they are a representative office of a leading British Operator????

OK. Drove, And again the eternal question - what to do? Who and most importantly where to look?

Internet, Google for a long couple of days, as a result I call several companies, where either the prices are exorbitant, or they simply don’t want to mess around, since the visa is complicated and the work is painstaking.

The last travel agency to call is Christopher Tours. I called: “Do you deal with visas? - We're doing it. Can you help? - We will do everything that depends on us. Is there time? – If it wasn’t, they wouldn’t have promised. How much does a consultation cost? – 500 UAH.

Well, 500 UAH. not 200 euros. I came for a consultation, we look at the documents, I decided to make sure once again that everything is ok with the Certificate in Language. I ask, but let's check the Certificate, is it suitable? Director Roman, to put it mildly, was surprised at my question, the answer struck me: “Here are seals on it, what could be wrong with it ?!” I'm shocked, but positive ☺ Taki understands, found, you can trust.

I will not go into details of the entire work process, because. it was mild and short-lived, lasting only a few days. Everything is clear, clear and understandable.

RESULT: every nuance is thought out, the documents are ready for submission in 3 days, the VISA IS OPENED IN A WEEK.

TIP ONE: “Hey citizen! You don't go to BRITOUR! Snow head will fall ... "

The experience with Britur is certainly negative and unpleasant, and even expensive, but no matter what, but an experience.
