Bought a trip New Year's tour Khust + Synevyr from 12/31/14 to 01/04/15. But we created the New Year mood for ourselves, thanks to the group, they were cheerful. The leader of the group, with very low qualifications and poor organizational skills: she was rude to fair remarks about information that was incorrectly brought to the group, was more involved in solving personal problems, did not respond to the requests of the tour group.
Of course, having a ten-year experience of traveling to many cities and countries, I meet a leader of such a low level for the first time.
A high-level company should not have such staff, tourists should not receive rudeness for their money.
Only thanks to good local guides (I especially liked Mrs. Marina from Khust) and cheerful bus drivers were not completely disappointed in the trip.
What else I didn’t like: the tour program was not thought out! On the first day, the first breakfast was promised in a hut (at our expense). Instead, down near the lift. Instead, we were offered a dubious broth from a disposable cup and fried sausages for 18 UAH. per piece, and all this outdoors at a temperature of -20C. When the bus had already left the "kolyba", the leader suddenly notified that this was breakfast. In general, half of the group remained hungry, they were able to eat only at 14-00 in the hotel.
On the day of the trip to Synevyr and the Shypit waterfall, it was suggested to climb to the waterfall on ice in the dark (at 18-00 in the mountains it is already dark as at night) and inspect it with flashlights. To which part of the group refused to get off the bus.
What we liked: the fabulous winter nature of the Carpathians, especially near Lake Synevyr, a fairly good hotel "Karpaty" with delicious cuisine, a New Year's program and a table, interesting excursions by local guides, delicious Transcarpathian cuisine at reasonable prices, delicious wines in the "Polychka Family Wine House".
The program can be recommended only if it is finalized, taking into account the comments and by ANOTHER team leader.
