Travel agency: Феерия Туроператор (Kyiv) Service type: экскурсионный тур, оформление визы |
For the first time in 12 years of bus tours, they chose the Feeria travel agency, tour from 12.08 to 23.08.12 Slovenia-Lake Garda. Never experienced such an unpleasant experience from a tour. We used to travel with Accord-tour, Inkomartur, Arteks.
1 - accompanying group. Inability and unwillingness to convey information about the tour, the program of the current day, the countries we visit. It would be possible to take the simplest information from the Internet ... When visiting cities, their orientation maps were not distributed. No information was given about the possibility of eating during the transfers, whether time will be allocated for this.
2 - an absolutely undeveloped route from the travel agency. For example, when stopping in a town near Lake Garda, when asked by tourists how to get to the lake, they said “go over there”. As it turned out, this is a distance of about 2 km, you need to go along the highway, and it’s very difficult to overcome a steep climb in hot weather. There was also no information about the possibility to drive by public transport or a taxi. Only on the last day, we ourselves accidentally found a sign for a pedestrian road to the lake along a scenic route, but we were no longer able to use it. I also did not like the fact that 2 tours were combined on the trip: 1 - Slovenia, 2 - Slovenia and Italy, so it was necessary to travel an extra 150 km for vacationers in Slovenia. When asked to drop us off in Koper or pick us up on the way back to Postojna, the accompanying group misinformed everyone that we were going to take a different road, in fact we were driving along the same road. The tour program did not provide for this move. For info. on this day we drove 670 km….
3 - disgusting conditions in the hotels of the tour where we were placed. Such hotels have not been encountered in the last 5 years of the 12 years of bus tours in which we have been. In the program, the company announced accommodation in 3-4 star hotels, but some hotels pulled no more than 2 stars. Especially, we were struck by the 1st hotel on Lake Balaton - Maria with a room similar to a hostel no more than 6 square meters, with a torn mosquito net and huge flying insects, and the corpses of these organisms were smeared on the walls, ceiling, hung on the window . There were simply no basic hygiene conditions. It turns out that we were still lucky - in other rooms there was no such grid at all and people could not open windows at all ... The tour escort was extremely surprised that we did not like this hotel. From this hotel, we immediately understood what awaits us on the trip .... In Portorož we were accommodated in a very economical room with a window on the stairs, where all entertainment events took place at a distance of 3 meters from the window until 12 o'clock at night (there is no air conditioning in the room), in Nago - the windows also overlooked a blank wall, stairs under the window and a counter….Of the 5 hotels of the tour, we were lucky with the hotel in Postojna, however, it was not in the city, but not far from the highway. In addition, Turfira changed the hotel on Lake Garda 1 day before the start of the tour, before that, a settlement was placed on the site in a completely different part of the lake and a different hotel.
4 - a complete swindle with excursions. The excursion to Sirmione, a small town on the island of Garda, made a special impression, which cost 30 euros per person. But we didn’t go to the town, we were stopped in another town, the escort again said her catchphrase “go over there”, come back in 1 hour. When I asked why we were not in Sirmione and why they took money from us, they answered me that this was Sirmione. I did not agree and showed a map that stop in another town. Only after that I was told that there was nothing to see there, and they took money from us for a trip to Gardaland, where we did not plan to go. A similar situation with an excursion to Venice. In order not to pay 50 euros for parking, we were taken to the suburbs of Venice, where we stood in a traffic jam for 2 hours there and 1.5 hours back (this time could be spent on Venice). Because the guide, who was supposed to meet us at the appointed time, did not wait and the city tour was postponed for 17 hours, and at 18 we were already leaving the city, the whole group from 13 to 17 hours senselessly walked around the city (the maps of the city, as always, are not It was)….
Summary: the tour programs are wonderful, but absolutely not worked out and not organized, it’s a pity for the spent vacation and money, I will never contact Feeria
