BEWARE SCAMMERS!!!!

We rested in Skhidnitsa in mid-September 2016. We are seasoned travelers (there are few places left in Europe where we have not been))), but in the Carpathian region there are still places we have not explored. To fill the gap, we visited Drohobych and Truskavets on our own, and decided to see Tustan with a guide, it’s more interesting and informative. We chose a company of medium price category, most of all we liked the majestic name - "Ukraine" (people in one of the Ukrainian regions of the country cannot slander their own state) - OH HOW WE WERE MISTAKEN (((. First they forgot to pick us up at the appointed place After several calls (eight) to the phone number indicated on the ticket, we, in the car of an employee of the company, were brought to the place where other tourists had finished their inspection of the object.

Having independently found a guide named Nadezhda, we tried to join the group, but the guide and driver were very upset by our appearance, as the places were occupied. After a small scandal, we were given the front seats in the minibus (several people were standing in the cabin). It took about an hour after the start of the tour, and we still did not see anything, but we had to listen to the conversation of the guide and the driver about how difficult it is for them to work and what bad people are tourists. Then the guide tried to lead the tour, and we listened to the driver's lecture about the behavior of tourists sitting in the front seat. The distance between the objects was small and we did not manage to hear at least a small part of the tour, as the guide offered to chat with the catering staff and make an order. Then, for some tourists, the tour continued, and the next unpleasant surprise awaited us.

It turns out that the 180 UAH we paid (the distance from Skhidnitsa to Tustan is 8 km) does not include a visit to Tustan and you need to pay another 64 UAH (32 UAH / person). This news was unexpected not only for us, but for several other people, but the guide quickly and confidently proceeded forward, they say, do not delay the continuation of the tour, although she patiently silently waited during the advertising of barbecue and other dishes by catering workers. After another call to the travel company, it turned out that we can not pay for the entrance (HOWEVER, and who decides WHO TO PAY for the entrance and who does not) and they will conduct an individual tour for us. But the mood was completely spoiled, and after the unrest, the physical condition began to deteriorate. To our request (by phone) to take us to Skhidnytsia, the head of the company replied that he could not do this, wait for the tour to end.

We planned to have a good time, did not assume that we would need medicines, so we went by taxi to drink pills (. So, without starting, our excursion to Tustan ended.
