Tour to Greece: flight, hotel, visa

I chose the Tourist Bureau due to the fact that they offered the lowest prices for the hotel I was interested in (Ioni Hotel, Paralia Katerini in Greece) under the early booking program. In February we bought a tour for May. Plus, the territorial position of the bureau suited - the center of the city. According to my observations, I have to go to the agency three or four times, and I didn’t want to go somewhere in the middle of nowhere.

I liked the service, friendly young employees, it is felt that they know the direction, though for any reason they consulted and wrote off the tour operator, and this complicated the work.

As a result, I had to pay more for the flight - the monopoly tour operator in Greece, Mouzenidis, decided to make money on the May holidays. But it still turned out cheaper than at the suggestion of other agencies.

Everything was fine with visas: they prompted me according to the documents, they received them without a personal submission. True, the agency employee made my friend a little nervous by saying that she had the wrong photos and that she had to be re-photographed, although the first version of the photo was used as a result. Something similar happened with a tax certificate.

There were also some nuances with the terms of payment - first they agreed on the second payment on April 5, and then they were obliged to pay up to 1 (they referred, again, to Mouzenidis).

The general conclusion is good staff, only so far there are few connections and personal contacts with representatives of the tour operator to resolve important issues promptly and in favor of the client, as well as insufficient knowledge of the documents for a Schengen visa on the part of one of the employees.
