Hello, I want to thank the Siesta travel agency, the leader of our group Igor and the tour guide from Peter Tatevik for a wonderful time in St. Petersburg from 19.06. to 06/23/13 To begin with, my family had a trip over such long distances for the first time, and after listening to the reviews of "experienced" tourists, we expected the worst. BUT, the impressions and memories remained the most pleasant. The leader of the group, Igor, is a pleasant young man, sociable and trying to smooth out all the unpleasant moments on the trip. During the trip back and forth there were frequent stops, it was possible to have time to stretch our legs normally and walk around, on the bus the leader of the group prepared tea / coffee for us at will. Naturally, the boiler in the bus is not dimensionless and there was hardly enough boiling water for everyone (70 people in the group), but this didn’t really upset us, because there were quite often stops. We left Kyiv around 10 am and arrived in St. Petersburg around 8 am. The only negative point is of course the lack of normal conditions to wash and brush your teeth. For these purposes, we were dropped off near the hypermarkets at the entrance to St. Petersburg, but it would have been better, of course, to check into a hotel and take a shower, have a bite and then go on excursions (note to the tour organizers). And so, after 12 hours on the train to Kyiv + 24 hours of travel by bus, it was a little tiring to immediately go to the excursion program. We were checked into the hotel at about 7:00 pm. The excursion program is VERY rich, for a very small cost of the tour it was 8! mandatory excursions and many optional ones. Of course, we were very tired, but it was a very pleasant tired. We were settled in the Polustrovo hotel, which is located 20-30 minutes from the center by bus, all days there was a bus escort with a guide. Hotel 3*, shower + toilet in the room, always hot water, TV, refrigerator, WI-FI (worked great), hair dryer, towels and white bedding, new beds with orthopedic mattresses are rated on a 5 to 5 point scale (very comfortable) , breakfast was a buffet, very decent food. You could eat with your head. In the middle of the day, according to the excursion program, a cafe with lunch was ordered, near which excursions were held. There we had lunch or lunch. In general, there were enough portions for women and children, but not enough for men ((. Portions were without first courses.
We were tuned in to a positive perception and therefore did not pay any attention to minor troubles, so we received only positive emotions and impressions from the excursion program and from the city. The city impresses with its majesty and beauty, chic and rich decoration of palaces and temples with cathedrals. Many rivers and bridges, parks and squares, all well-groomed and in excellent condition. In general, my family was wildly delighted with the trip!!! Many thanks to Siesta for such a wonderful tour and such a price. A private trip, even by train + entrance tickets to museums + accommodation will cost many times more. And you yourself, with all your desire, will not cover such a number of objects as with a guide and bus escort.
