Booked and paid for the tour a month before the holiday, Turkey, Marmaris, Grand Cettia Hotel 4 *. The choice of hotel was guided by the positive reviews of famous guides and sites for tourists. In Ukraine, everything was fine, the manager of TUI Ukraine told us that the hotel confirmed the reservation, we paid the full cost of the tour, about a week before departure received a full package of documents: tickets, insurance, travel vouchers, which indicated the hotel booked. But on arrival in Turkey, already on the bus at the entrance to Marmaris, our guide Yuri said that we were accommodated in another hotel Luna Beach Delux, because we do not have free rooms, and that this hotel seems to be the best and more expensive and we will not pay the difference. But the guide's words were a lie, because we considered the hotel Luna Beach Delux as an option, but refused because of bad reviews about it.
Upon entering the hotel Luna, I began to prove to the guide my position that it is a "divorce" and stay in Luna Beach Delux, we are strongly against, but to all our objections guide Yuri replied that in our hotel Grand Cettia Hotel 4 * no one is waiting for us you have no way out. As we arrived late Saturday night we had to come to terms with the situation and were reinforced at Luna Beach Delux with promises to deal with our hotel guide tomorrow. On Sunday, closer to noon, we managed to meet the hotel guide Elena, but she did not want to listen to our problem, arguing that she is now busy presenting and selling tours to other tourists. We calmly waited until she made the cash register and told her about our situation.
After listening to us, Olena said that now there is nothing she can do, because Sunday, the main office is closed, and promised that on Monday morning she will immediately resolve our issue with the office, and asked to come to her after 12:00, and for now you can see with the hotel, maybe you will change your attitude and stay here, which we started to do.
We are not demanding people, and what we heard and saw in Luna Beach Delux in general satisfied us, we even subconsciously decided to stay here so as not to spoil our vacation by finding out about the relationship with TUI. On Monday, as agreed, we met with Elena, but she did not offer us a solution to the problem, after which we began to talk to her in high tones, and only then she called the main office in Antalya, reported our problem.
After the call, Elena told us that everyone was working to overpower us, and again asked us to wait. Realizing that we are only wasting an hour, I have already suggested that we only be compensated for the difference between the cost of hotels (it is UAH 3,000) and the Greek with you. Olena promised to inform our management of our decision and make efforts to implement it. The next day, again, there was no proposal for a solution for us TUI, and no one wants to listen to us, and in general, upon returning to Ukraine, you can address your complaints.
And so it happened, immediately after arrival we went to the office (branch №12, Dream town 2) which sent us, and in the end we got compensation but not just with very negative impressions and emotions. Summing up, I want to say that they just tried to divorce us, thinking that inexperienced tourists will not demand compensation.
