organization of the tour 'New Year's Hungary'

Tour "New Year's Hungary" with the tour operator "Sakums" turned into a nightmare. We went with the whole family, the purpose of the trip was to meet NG together in an interesting country, get new impressions, show children Europe. "Inconsistencies" began on the eve of departure: 1. the day before the tour, the tour operator could not announce the name of the hotel 2. on the eve of departure on December 28, 2012 at 22-00 (departure on December 29 at 15-30) a call was received with a proposal to leave early at 11-00 by another train (we refused - everyone has their own plans and we didn’t want to wait for the rest of the group at the station for 5 hours with the children).

On the day of departure, right at the station, part of the tourists were offered to go to Lviv by train, and then take the train to Chop along with the rest of the group (!!!). On December 30, 2012 in Chop, instead of crossing the border, the bus went to Mukachevo to "pick up" some more tourists. We arrived and waited there for an extra 4 hours (for which it was possible to go through customs). The border was already crossed in Beregovo, another 1.5 hours of travel + 4 hours of customs. Then a long drive to Eger. At one of the stops near the Teske supermarket, the guide Julia got off "for 5 minutes." from the bus, while she told everyone to be on the bus, returned after 30 minutes. with purchases (!!!). Tourists were not offered to go to the free toilet or exchange money. Then check-in to the so-called Valley of Beauties, where, under the accompaniment of a guide, "faster, sooner - we don't have time" swallowed goulash, and galloped off on a walking tour. It was dark, the town is not big, not illuminated, although very beautiful. The tour is crumpled, compressed - 10 minutes in time. Then check-in at the baths promised by the program and the guide's assurances that, despite the fact that we are late, she will arrange for the group to stay there for 2 hours. However, the group was not allowed there at all. At 10 pm, tired and hungry, we finally reached Budapest. Upon check-in, it turned out that there was not enough space in the hotel for everyone, and my family was taken to another hotel (student, lower category, on the very outskirts of Budapest). Bathing was rescheduled for the next day on December 31 (instead of free time).

On December 31, excursions to Vyshegrad and Szentdre were another "gallop". While the other bands enjoyed the beauty, we were still driven. In Szentendre they gave "already" 15 minutes. free time (just run from the marzipan museum to the bus). There was no time for snacks and souvenirs. At the same time, Yulia quietly dined in one of the many New Year's tents ...

At three o'clock they promised to take us to the Széchenyi baths. We got there at 15-50 - an hour of pure time we were able to stay there. At 18-20 we ended up at the hotel, and at 19-20 we left for the celebration of NY on the ship. The ship was not found! The guide didn't know where he was! After 20 minutes, tourists independently figured out where to go. We got on the boat at 21:00, and the program started at 19:30.

01/01/13 - a trip to Austria. We left at 11 (there was only 1 driver on the bus!!!!, he needed to rest). There was a break on the way, the guide Julia gave 10 minutes. to the “toilet”, she calmly dined while we waited for 20 minutes on the bus. We drove 4 hours there, 4 - back. In Vienna 3 hours, 2 hours excursion - everything is galloping again, 1 hour of free time - 20 minutes. from which the road to the bus took. The guide in Vienna was extremely surprised that she needed to review Vienna in 2 hours. Guide Julia was not present at the tour - she drank coffee, went shopping.

01/02/12 - departure from Budapest with a stop at Tesco supermarket for an hour from 9-00. But the last hope for shopping is lost - all the shops of the complex opened at 10, and at that time we had to leave. Later there was a visit to the town of Miskolc in the baths. The story with breaks for the “toilet” repeated itself. Julia was having dinner - everyone was waiting for her. When the people made a remark to her, she promised to call the police!!!!, saying that it was not her duty to tell us where to eat, where to buy, and she should not give any information about places to visit either. This is the first time we have met such an attitude on the part of the escort.

On the bus, after visiting the baths, Yulia said that there were not enough tickets for the compartment car for my family and we had reserved seats, however, after pressure from our side, she still allocated the tickets promised in the tour program.

Dear tourists - this is my first review, despite many trips before!!! Use the services of only trusted operators with an impeccable history. SAKUMS turned a New Year's fairy tale into a New Year's horror !!!
