The best in the business

We recently returned from the Crimean Around the World tour (arrival date from June 28) and decided to share our impressions. After reading the previous review from Sergey Kostin, they were horrified. It even seemed to us that we had been on different tours. Well, firstly, I want to say that we were just fabulously lucky, we had a small group (only 4 people). As the guide Larisa explained to us, the group was larger, but due to family circumstances, a family of 6 had to abandon the trip. And although the minimum number of people for the tour is 5, Sanato served us as a full group. The objects that were announced for visiting, we visited all without exception. We also went on optional excursions. On the first day of the tour, we were asked exactly where we wanted to go optionally and warned that the cost of entrance tickets had changed slightly. We visited the Panorama, the boat factory, we didn’t all go to the palaces, we decided to go only to the most popular one - Vorontsovsky. We did not notice any craftiness, we saw everything that was written according to the program, either by visiting or by looking at an overview, we told about everything. We stopped at viewpoints and took photos as a keepsake. The driver is a great fellow, he has been working for several years and rides this particular tour, he already knows where it is better to slow down so that we can see everything.

We were also satisfied with the food. Such variety. Finally, we managed to taste real manti and delicious chebureks. I can say one thing - we did not manage to lose weight. The hotels are good, clean, with all amenities. The first two days we lived in the Fordewind hotel in the city of Balaklava, a very convenient location. In the evening you could walk along the embankment. They fed us there in the cafe scenery. Everything was oh so delicious. The hotel in Yalta was called Nice. Quite decent, clean and bright. In Sudak, the accommodation also did not cause any complaints. And they were fed for slaughter with various goodies, pre-specifying the menu.

Separately, I want to say for our guide Larisa Nikolaevna. A very kind and open woman who knows and loves her job. You could listen to her stories forever, she told a lot and very clearly. She has an excellent sense of humor. During these 6 days, we all became friends, which in itself is nice.

One thing I can say is that we were very pleased with the tour. Travel across the Crimea was successful. We saw all the most interesting places. No Turkey or Egypt can compare with this corner of Russia. After the tour, we decided to stay for another week in Alushta, just to relax on the beach. Crimea we love you. I think next summer we will tear with the whole family, but already in July, we hope to get on the Fleet Day tour in Sevastopol. Thanks again to the staff of SANATO for a well thought out tour.
