My husband and I went on a honeymoon trip to Sri Lanka with Roksolana Tour. at first they wanted to go themselves, a savage, but ran into a problem. we wanted to take a mandatory tour at the beginning, but we couldn’t find a competent Russian-speaking guide. found the company on the net. We were there competently formed a route and picked up a beach hotel.
Airarabia flew. only good price. There is no food on board, you can buy something. but we had 100 USD Change was given only in dirhams (currency of the UAE)))).
we arrived early in the morning, we were immediately settled in a hotel in colombo, we did not have to wait until 12 as usual.
the tour of the island was super - I advise everyone. visited the elephant nursery, dambula, kandy, spice garden, sigiriya, bot.garden. Nuwara Eliya is magical! like you get to England from the novels of the 19th century. and the hotel is just class)) there are even heaters in the room, so. + 14.
We went to the coast of Trincomalle. very similar to the Maldives, beauty ..
on the way to the coast visited the reserve. there in the natural environment elephants walk, crocodiles, turtles swim, buffaloes and deer were seen.
We stayed at the Bentota Beach Hotel on the beach. 4* hotel. nice clean beach. there are waves, but not terrible at all, if you can jump and swim.
We ourselves have already traveled to the Galle fort. I warn you, negotiate the price with the tuk-tuk or taxi driver right away. We kind of agreed, but not exactly, at the end the amount doubled, he volunteered to wait for us there, and then he took money for it ...
Lots of fruits, seafood. bargain. the guide didn’t tell the real cost of fruits, taxis, souvenirs, we bought everything with him and alpine tea, and spices and silk and batik and sapphires ...))) sapphires in Sri Lanka are one of the best in the world and the price pleasantly surprised . definitely try the red rum)))
