The manager Ekaterina guided us. My husband and I chose a tour to Greece through the tour operator TPG. The collaboration did not go smoothly. I'll start in order.
The cost of a visa to Greece. On the website of the tour operator, the price is 65 euros. It is a pity that I went to the website of the Greek Consulate too late. ATTENTION! A visa to Greece costs 35 euros! The remaining 30 euros from each person you pay to the tour operator or someone else who is not clear (there is no information about this anywhere). I think we should have been warned where our money is going. And why do we pay extra 30 euros? For the fact that the manager will bring your documents to the visa department and take you everywhere by the hand. Although now the process of obtaining a visa is very simple. All the necessary procedures take place in one large room, where there are practically no queues. And it's very easy to do it yourself. In addition, if you apply for a visa yourself, you choose the time convenient for you. And if you are traveling with a tour operator, you do not choose the time (although Ekaterina said in the travel agency that the time will be agreed with us). It's a lie.
The departure time has been postponed. How much? The return flight was canceled on the same day. And our manager Ekaterina said that we have to pay extra for a day of staying at the hotel. And this is a few weeks after the full payment of the tour! The contract clearly states that after the full payment of the tour, the price for us does not change. The director actively participated in these conversations "behind the scenes" (of course). But no discounts, no compensation offered. It's not our fault though. This despite the fact that on our tour their travel agency received some kind of bonus. For two days we worked hard to find out this issue. And here Catherine showed her tactlessness. The fact is that the husband is very busy at work and he does not have the opportunity to talk on the phone. I warned Ekaterina - for all questions, call me. And what she did: after an unsuccessful attempt to negotiate an additional payment with me, she began to frankly play up to my husband. Both of us were very unpleasant such impudence. After long conversations, we found out that it is possible to fly out a day earlier and the money will be returned to us in one day. And the math is this: if you pay extra money for a day of stay, then it is 60 euros, and if you want to return it, then 50 euros.
In general, I got the impression that this travel agency is unprofessional, tactless, non-customer-oriented. And the fact that we were not offered a discount in such a situation does not show the generosity of the director of the travel agency, but his redneck, sorry.
