With a pilgrim since 2017. Before, everything was fine, now one thing is clear - it’s good until you start having problems with which you will not be helped.
This time we bought a tour to Montenegro. Early booking. Our, already permanent, agent Alexander prepared the documents, oriented on the cost, there are no questions about this. Upon arrival at the villa, we were shown our room and it absolutely did not match what we bought. We called Alexander, he said that he would clarify everything with the Join up tour operator, that he had booked the right room, but we need to resolve this issue with the travel agent Alena of the meeting party. Alena said that there were no mistakes on their part and the request was specifically for a standard room without a kitchen, when we specified when buying a tour that we needed a two-room suite, where there is a bedroom and a living room + kitchen. Telling this to Alexander, he repeated again that it was easier to solve everything on the spot and that he had done everything right. As a result, after 3.5 hours of wasted time, we just went for a walk, and hoped that the issue would be resolved upon our return. When we returned, we were sent a message from the tour operator "Tell the guys that there are no available rooms that they wanted."
Actually, that's all. We spent 10 days in a room that we didn’t book, from the help we received the phrase “It will be more convenient to decide on the spot”, no one reimbursed the money (I think it’s quite logical that a two-room suite and a regular double cannot cost the same), and finally, before NO ONE APOLOGIZED US.
"I booked everything correctly." And what does it matter to us if we had to spend almost twice as much money on food in cafes / restaurants ...
