Paris, Paris...

We have long wanted to see Paris. And so our wish came true.

We climbed the Montmartre hill - the highest point in Paris, visited the Sacré-Coeur Basilica, walked the streets of the Latin Quarter, admired the stained glass windows in the Gothic chapel-reliquary of Sainte-Chapelle, visited Notre-Dame-de-Paris, climbed the towers of the cathedral, admired the night Paris from the Montparnasse Tower (the number of floors of this skyscraper is 57 floors, height - 210 m), flew in a hot air balloon in the Andre Citroen park, which was built on the territory of the former Citroen automobile plant (the park is very beautiful and stunning views of the Seine from the balloon ). In general, there are many different parks in Paris, and one is more beautiful than the other.

We also visited the Louvre, saw contemporary art at the Georges Pompidou Center (I really liked some of the installations). And of course, we visited the former residence of the French kings - Versailles (its famous mirror room is described in books more beautifully than in reality, although if there was sun, the effect would be different, but alas), the gardens in Versailles ... would walk and walked.

But most of all we were struck by the Grand Opera. This is something amazing. The opera itself is like a palace, there is even a library and a small art gallery. The theater foyer is simply luxurious. Out of curiosity, we also looked into the theater hall - they mounted the stage there.

Finally, we saw Paris from the Arc de Triomphe, walked along the Champs-Elysées and ... alas, it's time to leave, but I don't want to.

But, we have not yet climbed the Eiffel Tower (the only place in Paris where we have not climbed), we have not been to the Fontainebleau Palace, we have not visited the castles of the Loire, Mont Saint-Michel, we have not shopped in the English Channel, and, of course, , the province of Champagne was left this time without attention. I also want to try the famous French champagne Crystal. So, Paris, wait for us again!

In general, Paris is an amazing city, there are so many interesting things to see and for every taste. But I do not agree with the famous phrase of the writer Ilya Ehrenburg "To see Paris and die", this is exaggerated, because there are so many interesting things in the world, but Paris must be seen and returned to it from time to time.

Separate merci Ira. I do not like "sweetly sugary" reviews, but Ira is a good travel agent. This is not the first time we have traveled with her, and this is not our first travel agent, so there is something to compare with. Every time she worries about us so much (whether we returned, were we not lost anywhere, because we, like real travelers, do not like group tourism), she is interested in: how we went, what we saw, what we liked, what we didn’t; so patiently listens to everything that we tell (and this procedure takes a very long time;), because I like to talk, well, a lot of impressions after each trip).
