Spoiled May holidays

We bought the tour "Askania-Nova for the May holidays" through the tour operator "AVS Voyage".

Our main goal was to visit the Askania Nova nature reserve, which, surprisingly, was also an optional excursion))). However, we spent only 2.5 hours in the reserve (a short tour of the arboretum and the zoo). It took us longer to get there (14 hours by bus) than we were there! I also want to note that there was not even an opportunity to have a bite, not to mention a full meal, before the next tour with a tasting at the Prince Trubetskoy winery. On this day, our tourist group ate only 2 times: before leaving at 7:00 and upon arrival in Kherson after 20:00.

As a separate item, I want to highlight a boat trip along the Dnieper, Dnieper floodplains to the island of Belogrudov. The program indicates a boat, for which we again paid optionally (300 UAH). What was given to us instead of him can hardly be called a passenger boat. The excursion along the floodplains was carried out under the incessant noise of the motor. The fact that it was held at all could be guessed only by the fact that the guide opened his mouth. The sound of the engine mercilessly drowned out everything around.

I also want to note that the hotel room where we stayed for 3 nights was not ready to receive guests - the furniture was partially broken, not cleaned (someone else's tights in the nightstand), mold in the bathroom, clogged shower drain, non-working socket in the bathroom, torn out socket behind the bed, walls stained with something. Our request to change the number was not granted. Although other people's things were taken from the room and provided with a carrier.

I would especially like to note that we did not get into the Arbuzinsky Canyon declared in the program at all, because. the attendant independently decided that there was nothing to see there and that it was very similar to Aktovsky. He came to this conclusion at the request of someone from the group who was in a hurry to get home.

I would also like to note that our accompanying Vladimir, although a pleasant person, does not know or has not shown his organizational skills. We constantly forgot people at technical stops and excursions. The technical stops themselves, for the most part, were carried out in spontaneous markets with suspicious products. He also did not have organizational information about the upcoming excursions, arguing that this tour is still "raw".

Conclusions from the trip:

- the route is poorly worked out, the hourly schedule of the trip and excursions is incorrectly calculated;

- excursions, their duration, the list of places to visit changed irresponsibly and without agreement with the group;

- there was no free time in almost any place, which deprived tourists of the opportunity to even eat normally;

- Critical information about program changes was hidden by the team leader until the last moment, we learned about everything after repeated questions and after the fact.
