Getting from Nikolaev to Kapaty and Transcarpathia and having time to get acquainted with their beauties in a few days is very difficult for a tourist without a personal car, so organizing a five-day tour to the Carpathians with a departure from Nikolaev is a great opportunity for an express acquaintance with Western Ukraine.
The tour is busy. Night moving was not very stressful due to frequent stops. The first day - Kamenetz-Podolsky (city and fortress) and a magnificent recreation center near Chernivtsi (lakes, a swimming pool, a zoo, electric cars and a surprisingly relaxing atmosphere of a country holiday). Then moving to Mykulychyn (Yaremche). Comfortable hotel. Mountain air, river and forest - for the steppes - exotic.
The second day was dedicated to Yaremche. The downpour did not allow us to walk along the Dovbush trail, but everyone got raincoats (a very necessary thing in the Carpathians! :))). At the souvenir market, almost everyone bought embroidered shirts, pillows, caskets and all sorts of traditional tourist rubbish. It was Independence Day - people walked in embroidered shirts, companies celebrated the holiday in huts. I really liked to feed the deer and wild boar in the menagerie next to the "Medvezha Vezha" complex. The territory of the animals is rather big, everyone liked it. And what sweet water in the source, to which we were brought at the end of the tour!
Independence Day was celebrated by all our friendly in the hotel. Some were able to dress up in brand new embroidered shirts. We walked, and other guests, and staff!
The third day is a trip to Transcarpathia. Trufanets waterfall, Yablunetsky pass, Rakhiv and landscapes of amazing beauty! In Solotvyno they swam in salt pools and felt like they were on the Dead Sea - a very interesting place for recreation and health improvement. An excellent lunch at the kolyba museum - exotic bograch and lake trout went with a bang.
The fourth day - a walk-excursion through the forest to the Guk waterfall and Bukovel. A fashionable Ukrainian resort - that's what you can do in Ukraine if you don't steal at least a couple of years! The view from the lift is indescribable. A mountain lake with the purest water is just a gift for summer visitors to the resort. In the evening, the organizers of the tour gave us a great evening with real Hutsul "music", mead, mushroom soup and banosh. It was very cool!
On the last day, we walked with an excellent guide around Chernivtsi and the famous University. Ah, more time to get to know Bukoviska pearl! But - the road home is long, and many were going to work in the morning ...
The tour is very well organized. For five days, we briefly got acquainted with Bukovyna, Hutsulshchyna and Transcarpathia. Admire the magnificent nature. We tried the unique local cuisine. We got acquainted with the Hutsul culture and hospitality. Thanks to the small dimensions of the bus and the skill of the driver Vladimir, they could easily get there in a couple of hours to where an ordinary tourist without a car would get for days. We saw a lot and a lot.
Meals are thought out - both at the hotel (the cost of breakfasts and dinners was included in the price of the tour) and during excursions. Excursions are thought out, in each city they were led by their own, local guides. The head of the agency Elena Nikolaevna traveled with us. All five days she created the most comfortable conditions for tourists. As a result, the team excursion of people who did not know each other before turned into an exciting and relaxed walk of old friends. Memories of the trip are only positive. Thank you, "Mandrivochka"!
