Honeymoon in the Maldives

The long-awaited time of our wedding was approaching, and at the same time, the time for choosing a honeymoon trip.

Somehow we immediately settled on "Mandrui Cheaper", as we often look through their offers. For a long time they could not decide where they would go: they wanted something romantic, a place where they would not just go. We must say a huge thank you to the staff of Mandrui Cheaper, especially Sergey Alekseev: they helped as best they could for several months: they were attentive, talked a lot, listened, and, in the end, our choice is the fabulous Maldives!

The organization of the trip was at the highest level: no problems or inconveniences, documents were sent by courier - we signed and everything is ready, we leave. The work of “Mandrui Cheaper” did not end there, the guides and employees of the tour operator did not let us get lost anywhere: they met us at the plane, handed us “from hand to hand” to the hotel, met us on the way back, had a free tour of the capital of the Maldives - Male. It was evident that the guys tried to make us happy and they succeeded!

Well, a few words about the rest. Oh, if possible, visit the Maldives at least once in your life! After an hour boat trip on a motorboat, we and about 5-6 pairs of Germans were taken to the island. In the Maldives, it seems, there is an island for everything: for the airport, for the prison, for barbecues, for everything. On the island, a cocktail awaited us and a bungalow on the beach, 20 meters from the endless Indian Ocean...

Gorgeous nature, exotic trees, birds and, just the same, an ocean of colorful fish. The island is a hotel, no, not like that, the hotel is a whole island, however, you can get around it in 15 minutes in a circle. You will not see intrusive animation here, noisy discos, fuss, complete harmony reigns in the Maldives. Calm, quiet rest, time to dream and think about "eternal". This is just what you need after the pre-wedding turmoil. From entertainment - diving, surfing, not cheap, but generally affordable. Free snorkeling: 3 times a day they take you to the open ocean to swim with a mask and snorkel. The Maldives is a snorkeling paradise! Believe me, there is something to see: a variety of fish, large, small, octopuses, manta rays, eels, stone fish and even reef sharks. Oh, sharks are a separate story. Twice a week, the island staff feeds the fish, and then all the inhabitants of the Indian Ocean come together: hundreds of fish, moray eels, stingrays and a dozen sharks. Moreover, you can swim with them and we gladly took advantage of this opportunity. Believe me, the impressions, of course, are special when 2-3 sharks swim under you at a distance of half a meter.

From other entertainment: a trip to the capital, a trip to 3 islands: with local residents, on a desert island and on an island with another hotel, apparently for contrast. The food was good, no frills, but tasty, desserts - super! 8 days without shoes around the island, even in a restaurant. The staff is not very friendly but attentive. And the air is so thick and humid that you want to breathe slowly and deeply.
