From October 22 to October 28, we went on the tour "Georgia to the maximum."

Arrived in Tbilisi at 12-15 (flight from Kyiv about 3 hours). At the exit, I was met by a representative of KOTE, who took me to the TIFLIS hotel. You can go by taxi on your own, for two it will be twice cheaper (8-10 euros instead of 20), but I don’t recommend it for the first time in a new country.

The hotel is great. A modern boutique hotel in the central part of Tbilisi, but in a very quiet place with its own private courtyard.

At 15-00 meeting with the Tbilisi representative Ekaterina, who spoke in detail and sensibly about the tour program. At the same time, a chat was created in Viber for timely information of tourists.

I will not describe the trip in detail (it is 90% consistent with the tour program).

It must be taken into account that we were very lucky: the group was only 11 people.

I would like to note the pros, cons and suggestions for improving the tour.

1. Excellent organization and information before the trip (the only thing they didn’t know was that vaccinated tourists DO NOT need to register online on the Georgian tourism website).

2. Well-coordinated and high-level work of the Georgian KOTE team. (coordinator Ekaterina, excellent guide Rolland, driver Merab

3. Lack of overlays with the tour schedule. (With a small exception caused by a 24-hour downpour in Batumi).

4. In a short time of the tour, we saw most of the regions of Georgia (valleys, mountains, sea).

5. Of course the beauty of Georgia, its wonderful people (very fond of Ukrainians), fantastic cuisine.

1. THE MOST BASIC: Poorly thought out transportation logistics (two very long transfers - a) Tbilisi - Sighnaghi - Batumi: from 9-00 to 01-00; b) Batumi-Gudauri: 9-00 -21-00. (I'll give my suggestions below).

2. Not essential - the hotel "Iberia" in Batumi on a very noisy street (I advise you to ask for rooms without a view of the street). The rooms are very dark. And so, a new clean hotel. Essentially - the hotel in Gudauri "FREERIDER" - it is necessary that the heating be turned on at least 5 hours before arrival, it is very cold, the whole group slept in clothes. Wildness for our time.

3. Due to daily rain in Batumi, two declared excursions did not take place: around the city and the botanical garden. The next day is sunny and free day. They asked to make an exception and provide a transfer to the botanical garden in the morning, but they were refused (not provided by the Kiev office) - it's not scary (the minibus costs 1 GEL), but still ...

My suggestions for organizing the logistics of this tour:

Day 1. Arrival on Saturday from Kyiv to Batumi at 11-35 (the rest of the day is quite enough for free time).

Day 2. (Sun) Excursions about the program

Day 3. (Mon) Departure to Tbilisi. On the way, an additional sightseeing tour to Kutaisi (2 hours). Check-in at the hotel in Tbilisi.

Day 4. (Tue) Excursion to Kakheti.

Day 5. (Wed) Mtskheta, sightseeing Tbilisi, Georgian night.

Day 6. (Thursday) Kazbegi, Uplestsikhe.

Day 7. (Fri) Flight Tbilisi - Kyiv.

Difficult transfers will be significantly reduced (for large groups, I think the time for moving is much longer than for our small group.
