I took a tour for myself and my friend "Merry Maslenitsa in Meshchera" (Moscow-Intercession (St. Vvedensky Monastery) - Meshchera-Gus Khrustalny-Vladimir-Moscow), tour dates - February 21-22, 2015. We went with the hope of interesting excursions, cheerful holiday, positive and rest. Bottom line: a rather dull and short excursion in the Holy Vvedensky Monastery, everyone is running, "you are late, let's hurry, we are having a christening now," the place is beautiful, but not meaningful and somehow unjustified.
Then we were taken to the Meshchery nature reserve, where, according to the tour program, Maslenitsa festivities were promised, however, we were driven to the fenced area of the "Russian settlement", where we were met by "Santa Claus" and some woman in a hat with a star, an exposition of this " settlements" is rather boring, most likely it will be interesting only for children, but the children from our group (3-8 years old) got tired pretty quickly and they just ran around the territory, there were no special festivities on the territory of the "settlements", the festivities went on at 300 meters and there they burned a woman and generally quite funny sounds were heard, but our group stubbornly continued to be "marinated" on the territory of the "settlement", I liked only oxygen in this settlement ... Then lunch was delicious, but we spent it in some strange veranda , where not all members of the group had enough space and people ate standing up, it is also worth noting that pancakes for lunch were delivered in half an hour and we ate them cold.
When leaving Meshcher, the bus, while trying to go around a parked car, drove its rear wheels over the edge of the bridge deck, the situation was saved by local people passing by who had shovels. The doors of the bus were dug up, all the members of the group got out and the men pushed the bus out. We went to Gus Khrustalny, the guides to the crystal museum are always on top, but now my second trip ends with the fact that the tour in the modern crystal hall is not carried out, and again because "you are late, we work until 18".
It is always unpleasant and extremely disappointing when, at the expense of the sightseers, "everything goes according to the program" ((((Further, we were settled in the Barinova Roshcha hotel, this is a separate story: the room is clean, but with windows on the industrial zone, a burnt bed and a stool, food in the cafe on the ground floor of the hotel - nothing, they paid 1000 for dinner for two, but it's terrible - in the kitchen they even managed to spoil the chicken fillet, not to mention the barbecue, which one of the group members ordered and could not eat, chicken cutlet in burnt breadcrumbs , mashed potatoes that gave heartburn, breakfast with "casserole" of something and hard puff pastries from a nearby store, INSTANT COFFEE and an uniced porch.
On the morning of Sunday, 02/22/2015, we were taken to the crystal market, giving 1 hour for shopping, although the previous evening it was said about an hour and a half, but oh well, we managed to buy beautiful things in an hour, but the driver managed to get into An accident and we spent another 1.5 hours near the entrance to the market, but the guide accompanying us did not consider it her duty to inform us about this until the participants themselves insisted on information. We left for Vladimir and, of course, we started to be late everywhere. A master class in the gingerbread house is cool, my friend and I didn’t run on a sightseeing tour of Vladimir, having difficulty finding out from the guide where we should go and what time, we mentally walked along Bolshaya Moskovskaya, meeting, by the way, in one of the cafes of the participants of our the same groups. the guide insisted that we come to "Babusa
Yaguse" - it may be interesting, but the children, I was bored and uninteresting, I liked the room with dolls, but it's not worth it, tasting is too big a name for three liquors, but we bought a couple to already relieve stress on the way back and then the guide told us about the "bonus" - a tasting of some pastries, in a bakery across the street from "Babusi Yagusi" - pastries, maybe tasty, but everyone was already tired and dreaming of a bus. After all these, luring money and provoking for shopping, tastings and "excursions", we, cheers, got on the bus and went to Moscow. We reached Moscow without incident. The accompanying guide practically did not give information after Pokrov, everything before Pokrov is also not very interesting in terms of can't resolve any organizational and critical situations, just doesn't answer questions.
In order not to create an image of being capricious and finding fault with everything, I can tell you that I have been going on such tours for a long time and with different travel agencies, and with your company we went not so long ago, but I never had such a vague and unpleasant feeling from the weekend, just extremely not pleasant here is a frank extortion of money from tourists.
Don't lose your level.
