My husband and I went to the UAE, Dubai, Atlantis the Palm Hotel. Choosing between several travel agencies, we settled on "Deluxe Tour" - they had the widest choice. The manager treated us like we were the only customers. I was surprised that they did not tell wonderful tales, but honestly warned about the minuses and possible troubles. For example, that you can’t take pictures of people and municipal facilities - and I always tried to take pictures with the local public. In general, probably many of the troubles associated with local specifics, etiquette, mentality, we managed to avoid due to the fact that we were "armed to the teeth" with information.
