in general, we liked the tour to Italy, we will go again

I went on the tour "Romance of Italy" with the tour operator Delta Travel. Air tour.

Of course, there are more positive emotions than negative ones. Italy liked everything:

Rimini is a very nice town on the Adriatic coast. We were not lucky with the weather on this tour, it rained every day and it was quite cold, as for the May holidays, we walked in warm sweaters and jackets, but the greatness of Italy closes even bad weather. From Rimini they offer an optional excursion to the small country of San Marino, our friends didn’t like it and they didn’t advise us to go there, they say, nothing interesting, just a town on a mountain. But we decided to evaluate everything ourselves, and did not regret it. The view of the valley from the top of the old town is simply amazing, in addition, I recommend everyone to skimp on Fragolino champagne and wine there, then this will not happen. Even in San Marino, very inexpensive and high-quality leather bags, the accompanying group did not warn us about this.

Rome - words cannot describe it, I will say briefly: it is majestic and delightfully beautiful. We took optional excursions to Tivoli, a night walk in Rome, Siena, Pisa. I liked everything very much, it is worth to go. The Leaning Tower of Pisa was very impressive, I always thought that it was old, shabby, but it was so elegant, solemn, and also very beautiful.

We took a trip to the shopping center for half a day, I don’t advise it, we sell things of this quality on the Troyeshchina market and twenty times cheaper. Solid China, there is nothing to choose. Were very disappointed, it would be better to walk around Rome.

We hardly saw Frorencia, because the downpour poured even under the umbrellas.

Venice, in general, is a separate country in the country, I liked everything even despite the very high prices: the cost of a regular (no) lunch is 30 euros per person. But the city itself is something unforgettable!

I would like to return to this tour again, but in the summer.

From the negative:

1. Our Ukrainian group at the airport was united with the Russians. We were in a frenzy!!! Here, the tour operator Delta Travel is completely burned out: we are at war with them, and here it takes 8 days in one bus !!! But there were no scandals and fights, but it was unpleasant for both sides.

2. Seats on the bus are not allocated, like other tour operators, our busy on the first day then tried to take other people twice more, we defended, but with a scandal.

3. Breakfasts in hotels are not just terrible, but they simply do not exist (dry toast, jam). There were three of us, on the third day we came for breakfast with our food, the one that did not fit for dinner. The whole group was jealous when we trampled on the seafood salad... :)

From the positive and recommendations:

1. Champagne, wine, bags, glasses, it is better to buy in San Marino. also good things, bags, in Rome and Florence. The cheapest magnets, T-shirts, caps, souvenirs - in Rimini, buy there right away.

2. Listen carefully to your companion, even if he is subjectively unpleasant to you. We had Sergey, all his recommendations were very useful. For example, he recommended restaurants with very tasty and inexpensive food in all cities. Ice cream is the tastiest thing I've ever eaten in Europe. Expensive, but tasty, I recommend to try at least once.

3. All guides are professionals in their field. None of them closed their mouths for a second, and all the information was presented in an accessible and interesting way.

4. If you can afford this tour and have not been to Italy, definitely buy it. I want to go back to Italy again, I really liked this country.

5. And the last thing: in Delta Travel we were offered accommodation to choose from in the vicinity of cities, or in the center. We took more expensive, but lived in the very center of each city. But we walked around these cities until night and then on foot or by city transport we got to the hotel. Those who lived in the vicinity are 20-30 km. from the city, they could no longer go for a walk.
