Travel agency: Дельта Тревел (Kyiv) Service type: экскурсионный тур |
The organization of the tour "Rest in the land of the gods" from delta travel really wants the best. But if you want to see Greece at a low price, then you can go on this tour. BUT get ready, it will be hard.
We traveled from 14 to 22 July. It was very hot and the air conditioner didn't work. More precisely, according to the drivers and accompanying people, he worked, but we did not feel it. Only on the way back, after scandals and calls to the office of the company (almost with threats of lawsuits), the air conditioner started working.
For those who are just going on such a trip, I want to warn you - in fact, everyone on the bus had swollen legs (even among young and healthy ones). Two days in a sitting position causes different problems. By the way, the seats were rearranged on the bus, so the small distance between the seats decreased even more. I am 160 cm tall and my legs were close to each other. So you can imagine what happened to the people above. The bus broke down, back in Ukraine (1.5 hours in the heat). But the drivers knew exactly where to go, they didn’t go astray (we didn’t notice ). By the way, it was the drivers who told us about the places that we passed and tried to somehow defuse the situation.
We had two escorts. And a complete lack of organization. But to their credit, it must be said that there were some attempts. Especially from the young (by the way, very nice :)) attendant. I hope travel agencies also read these reviews and draw conclusions. The worst (apart from the lack of cooling) was the lack of any information. The bus stopped and the doors were opened. No one says what kind of parking it is, what time it is, when the next one will be. Because of this, conflicts and loss of time often arose. For example, a technical parking lot to refuel the bus, a toilet in the form of wooden booths "MF", near the bushes. The whole group, indignant and not understanding anything, lines up to do their natural needs. Parking stretches for half an hour. And then it turns out that we were late for customs (shift change began), where we could make a normal stop, with normal toilets. If everything had been announced to us in advance, there would have been no problems. By the way, about the toilets, for all the time we only once or twice got into normal WCs (that is, a number of booths with water where you can wash your face and wash your hands), basically we were content with bushes (in the literal sense of the word) or “MF” booths, when 40 people try to get into two booths. Perhaps - this is the policy of the company, we have never stopped in paid toilets. But I, for example, am ready to pay in order to be able to take exercise normally.
For those who are going on a similar tour - Greece is worth it!!! Yes, there are problems, but they can be endured in order to see and feel the sea, air, sights of Greece. You just have to be prepared for such things, and forewarned is forearmed!!
