Brilliant Saint Petersburg

I want to tell you how we visited the tour "Brilliant St. Petersburg" from the company "Delta Travel" from 05.06-10.06 of this year.

First of all, about the good. The tour "Brilliant St. Petersburg" is a great opportunity to touch the great city for quite a very small and affordable means, namely to breathe in the fresh, cool Neva air, see the most beautiful architecture of St. Petersburg and its unforgettable White Nights, ride along the rivers and canals, visit many museums and hear a lot of fascinating stories. In this regard, I would like to say a huge thank you to the developers of the tour in the person of "Delta Travel" for this opportunity to visit the city of a fairy tale, a city of dreams...

In addition, I would like to note the professionalism and sophistication of the actions of our guide-accompanying Inna, thanks to which we managed to see a lot in a very organized manner and with minimal loss (almost no loss) of time. Thanks to Inna for punctuality, clarity of actions when we settled in the hotel, the absence of conflicts and misunderstandings, as well as for unobtrusiveness and amazing delicacy.

A little about the hotel. According to preliminary reviews on the Internet, there was not a very cheerful impression of the hotel "White Nights" offered for living. Upon arrival and settlement, everything turned out to be much better. The hotel already has quite comfortable rooms available and every year their number will increase, as the hotel is being intensively renovated. For a stay of four days or three nights, and a direct stay in the room for only three nights, three clean beds, constant hot water, a TV, and even a refrigerator in some rooms were absolutely enough, while the room was cleaned and hygiene products were changed. At the same time, breakfast and dinner are scheduled, quite tasty food, pastries, fruits.

Now a little (well, quite a bit) about what, in my opinion, caused discomfort. Of course, I understand that June for St. Petersburg is the time of the tourist invasion, huge crowds of tourists tend to plunge into St. Petersburg's white nights. So our group consisted of 60 people, including two children's groups of 15 people. I am not against children, I myself traveled with a child, but children in the form of groups are, in my opinion, a very difficult type of travel companions for couples and single tourists, in particular with a very tedious daily journey. Of course, I am a delicacy in the tourist business, but I consider it inappropriate to combine children's groups and isolated tourists into one big boiler. This is not very comfortable for us and for traveling children's groups, for a variety of reasons. And in general, a group of such a huge number of people for such a long journey and for such an extensive active program is not very clear.

And in conclusion, I’ll say for especially picky tourists: it’s not me who discovered the fact that tours need to be selected according to the price-quality principle, and so this tour is fully consistent with this principle, moreover, its quality is largely increased due to Peter himself and those emotions, which he gives.
