In June we went on a tour of the capitals of the Baltic and Scandinavia. Wonderful trip! We visited Tallinn, Helsinki, Turku, Stockholm, Riga and Jurmala. I was pleasantly surprised by the price: 179 euros. Usually tours to this region are much more expensive. We thought that for such money the service would be appropriate, especially when we found out the cost of a ferry ticket, and we had 3 of them. Reality exceeded all expectations! I will not write about the sights of all 4 capitals, everything is clear here. Everything is great! It's worth visiting at least once in your life! We are very happy that we decided to take this trip. I will write about everyday issues that we were very interested in before the trip. In Tallinn, a wonderful hotel was waiting for us, where we could put ourselves in order after a long move (you need to prepare mentally for it in advance). We were settled in the hotel after a sightseeing tour of the city. I really don’t advise you to lie down to rest after a shower: you simply won’t have the strength to rise. Is it worth it to go to this city to sleep? After a shower - to the CITY! I assure you that there is something to see. In the evening, I advise you to visit Beer Haus, especially since the guide gives out coupons to everyone with a 10% discount and they really work. I advise you to order a cheese soup with shrimp: it is poured into a form of bread, which you then eat. I ate this only in Krakow. Delicious! Of our entire group, only the two of us went there (and my girlfriend doesn’t drink beer at all) and hardly forced ourselves to leave there, because. early morning ferry to Helsinki.
It should be noted that the entire tour program is completed to the last comma, including the departure time and arrival time. Lena Prikhodko, about whom we sometimes read unpleasant reviews, turned out to be a very nice woman who is always ready to help everyone in any situation. Many thanks to her for being able to be unobtrusive, sociable and knows her job well! The drivers are very attentive, delicate, they drove us so professionally that, sitting on the wheel, I did not notice the defects of our and Russian roads.
Always and everywhere we were on time. The ferry to Helsinki takes 2.5 hours. Comes minute by minute. In order not to get lost on this Titanic, you need to carefully listen to the guide's recommendations while still on the shore in Tallinn. By the way, in Tallinn we were given a dry ration that exceeded all our expectations: a HUGE sandwich with ham, cheese, herbs and vegetables, banana, yogurt, candy, 0.5 l. bottle of water. And all this was packed in a wonderful cardboard suitcase, which was nice to take in your hands. Some brought him to Ukraine. Before the trip, we were worried about how we would spend the night on the ferry at such a cost of the entire ticket. We sailed in class C cabin and do not regret that we saved a little. The cabin is 4-bed like in a compartment car, but the beds are wider, there is a special ladder to make it easier to climb onto the 2nd shelf. The cabin has its own shower (which is very important), toilet, sink. Take shampoo, hair dryer and soap with you. You won’t have to sleep for a long time, because. there are a lot of temptations on the ferry for every taste. We did not order breakfast and dinner (in total, we saved 80 euros for 2 ferries), we stocked up on food at home, which we did not regret, because. food there costs MONEY. Those who went to the restaurant on the ferry regretted it, although the advertising of breakfasts and dinners was good. Black caviar is artificial, so don't be fooled.
Excursions in all cities are well organized, excellent guides. I do not advise you to take all excursions, otherwise you will not be able to feel the color of the city and the country. Choose what really interests you.
One minus: a long road to Tallinn through 3 borders: Ukraine-Belarus; Belarus-Russia; Russia-Estonia. And the lack of well-equipped toilets to the Baltic. Indeed, we were offered several times to "walk" in nature, because. at gas stations, as a rule, there is only 1 booth for women and you can’t wait for everyone to wait .... Due to "walks" in the fresh air, they saved time well and quickly arrived everywhere. The way back was shorter: from Riga through Vilnius to Ukraine. We arrived in Kyiv around 16.00.
One big minus that I can’t keep silent about: fix the air conditioner in the bus, which doesn’t work in the middle of the cabin, but at the end it freezes so that people don’t know how to warm up. I don't know who was more "lucky".
I advise you to go on this tour in June: the white nights should be seen! The weather was perfect: 20-22 degrees, there were no rains!
Many thanks to all the organizers of this wonderful tour and fellow travelers, with whom it was very pleasant to communicate.
